Μεσημεριανή βόλτα στο Πλωμάρι Λέσβος Plomari Lesvos 02/08/2022

Μετά την επίσκεψή μας στην Αγιάσο κατευθυνθήκαμε προς το Πλωμάρι Λέσβου για να δούμε και να ανακαλύψουμε τις ομορφιές της περιοχής με το φακό μας. Πρώτα επισκεφτήκαμε την παραθαλάσσια περιοχή το λιμανάκι και μετά κατευθυνθήκαμε προς την αγορά του χωριού, και μετά πήραμε ορισμένα πλάνα από το μεγάλο λιμενοβραχίονα ώστε να έχουμε μία πιο ωραία εικόνα του χωριού.
Επίσης στο Πλωμάρι μπορούμε να βρούμε ωραία εστιατόρια καφέ και άλλα. Οι κοντινές παραλίες που αξίζει να επισκεφτούμε είναι ο Άγιος Ισίδωρος Και η μελίντα
Βρίσκεται στα νότια παράλια του νησιού και θεωρείται παραδοσιακός οικισμός. Χτίστηκε στη σημερινή του θέση γύρω στο 1842, όταν εξέλιπε ο φόβος των πειρατών και διασχίζεται από τον χείμαρρο Σεδούντα. Στο κέντρο του οικισμού βρίσκεται ο ναός του Αγίου Νικολάου χτισμένος το 1847. Σήμα κατατεθέν του οικισμού ο πλάτανος της κεντρικής πλατείας, που όπως λέγεται φυτεύτηκε το 1813.

After our visit to Agiaso we headed to Plomari Lesvos to see and discover the beauties of the area with our lens. First we visited the harbor area and then headed to the village market, and then took some shots from the big jetty to get a better picture of the village.
Also in Plomari we can find nice restaurants cafes and others. The nearby beaches worth visiting are Agios Isidoros and Melinda
It is located on the south coast of the island and is considered a traditional settlement. It was built in its current location around 1842, when the fear of pirates disappeared, and it is crossed by the Sedunda torrent. In the center of the settlement is the church of Agios Nikolaos, built in 1847. The settlement's hallmark is the sycamore tree in the central square, which is said to have been planted in 1813.

Ha, thanks! An other nice video of a well known place. Many years ago we did a so called "fly-drive"over the island. We visited some 4 hotels in 14 days while driving around.
These fly-drives are harder to get in recent times. If possible we visit Lesvos twice a year and learned it is wise to choose for an appartement in the center, so we can drive an other direction every day.
When we go to Plomari we stay there for the night an not drive back in the dark.
Saturday evenings are very special! Lots of fun. The Greek people celebrate the weekend then. Of course we have a bottle of Ouzo from Plomari here at home!
