Just as how the presentation of the one truth in EP7 wasn't likely the exact version of what had happened in the real world, as even Eva's diary too would've been painted with subjectivism. Given that THIS is Featherine we're talking about however, I also don't deny that the future wherein Asumu had survived and become a part of the family would have RADICALLY changed Sayo and Battler's fate. But being the witch that she is, I think the point of the fragment was less that the Ushiromiyas would have had a clear cut, pitch perfect happy ending, but rather it was simply another wedge to poke into Ange's heart. Luckily, Piece herself knew better. Though I doubt it'd all completely matter anyhow since everything shown in Last Note really was just hypothetical forgery.
Yeah that's right, Piece said that this fragment is more a fairytale for Asumu made so Ange and Kyrie would suffer, Featherine created this fairytale fragment for Asumu through her perspective of her family, since Asumu deeply felt that the family she was part of and Sayo would never be horrible people they would never kill each other for gold or for revenge "if she was there", so we could see that not only with Rudolph, but with the rest she was kinda blinded by love to her family and Sayo (maybe that's why she is the witch of Pieces/humans, she sees good/humanity in everyone... well almost everyone). Probably if Asumu was alive she would even loved Ange too and even would wanted to take her as her child and lie to the Ushiromiyas, she was that kind of person as Piece said to Ange she only wanted to make her suffer because Kyrie married Rudolph right away and then had Ange. Piece said that if they meet (most likely hinting that Ange would be born even if she was alive) they would get along, most likely like her relationship with Battler. She really has a great heart, that big that probably found out Battler wasn't her biological son as Piece and still said that she "gave birth to him" (she didn't said it on red so probably she really knows that's not true) and still saw him as her son.
