I had the (un)fortunate opportunity to try it out from a friend and goddamn I was blown away. It fits all of the tracks I've tested it on and it's the perfect IEM for me because I listen to a wide variety of songs and music daily. Although unfortunately I lack the money to actually buy it though but maybe one day, unless there's competition that can beat it for cheaper then this is the one for me.

I would say the Supernova is a refined version of the Truthear Hexa, both of which I love. Extremely well tuned, balanced and natural sounding. I prefer it technically and tuning-wise SA6 by a significant amount, so IMO, it's well worth is asking price. I love it so much, I might get a 2nd pair...
I've been listening to this for two months yet, and it's my absolute favorite for female vocals. Never heard anything else like it. I actually think Timmy is underrating it.
I waited 4 months for mine, but it was worth it. Sounds like you really are a full thumbs up in your description of why - every IEM design is going to have trade offs. I love how sweet and musical this sounds - if i want to rock out, i have other sets, bit i can listen to this all day and appreciate songs I've heard a thousand times all over again. I agree that the service was great. They were very apologetic about the wait and described all the steps it was going through. Being able to pick the specific design was amazing as well, so you end up with a one-of-a-kind item. My only criticism is that the logos are too big - i would like to see more of the incredible shell.
I've recently got a chance to try this out, and holy cow is this versatile and detailed with every single track I have. I love it, hope I have the money one day to own it for my own
it come from boutique shop at kiara condong, Bandung, west java. indonesian pride by Stephen the wizard him self. guess what? they won't brake a bank for their quality! their cema cables is way better then 64 audio included in their kilobucks iems!
Heard it’s a beast set. Side note - It IS a brand’s fault if they mass produce iems and can’t give you the good care you deserve and you SHOULD blame them though.
Great review Timmy! Congestion is a minus for me.. it’s a real plus when all details are present during a busy section of music! One of my favorite test tracks is Waters of March from the “twist of jobim” album. Oleta Adams and Al Jarreau sing a duet. It’s important to me for playback of whatever I’m auditioning to be faithful to reality. I want to hear Al and Oleta’s full voice. It’s a novel idea to me to be satisfied with some of it missing? The harmonics of the earthier portion of the voice ground the voice in who the artist/ person is. It’s like hearing an adult vs a kid sing. I’m not against an ethereal sound, I just want to hear wholeness. If this iem doesn’t have an annoying level of congestion I think I would love it 🕊️ Always enjoy your reviews!
How do you sample IEM's at an event like can jam? Just buy a bunch of dirt cheap chinese silicone eartips to give out? Eartips which will likely have an effect on the sound?
I had both, personally liked the Supernova so much more, I sold my SA6 Ultra (which being limited, held it's sale value extremely well!). All round better tuning and technicals to my ears.

@@geraltnroach I no longer have my SA6U but going by memory, both are pretty neutral, but I would say SA6 is warmer sounding.
