How can I learn what is the tiny red circle which sits in the middle of the TIMELINE INDICATOR? What is it telling the editor?

I have not seen stranger things yet. Let me watch the series first and then we will look into creating effects for it
very useful but one thing I'de recommend is going a little slower at some parts. But this video was AWESOME! Btw production crate didn't work. Do I have to buy it?
