Context: Last season, your son, Danny, appeared to skip town. While you were searching for him, you were taken hostage by Aldo Mitzrati, a rather charming mobster, who revealed that your son had stolen from him. Worse, that he worked for him. Yet, you and Aldo hit it off, agreeing to a date and, well, the rest is history. You thought you’d put the past behind you. Buried it with your abusive ex-husband. But, tonight, another ghost from your past has resurfaced… and he’s your father.
I'm really sorry this one took this long. I'm probably going to be getting some help on the editing side of things moving forward. I'll still edit this series at the very least, but I'm not handling my burnout very well...

Thank you. As one person who has been fighting burnout and depression for a decade plus now, I totally get how devastating and inadequate it can make one feel. A big reason I fell in love with writing this series is you and your audience, though, which is to say - it's not going anywhere, it'll always be here if and when, and even if you never finish it, I've been as delighted and 'on this ride" as everyone else, and probably will stay so :3
Take your time. Creative work is a marathon, not a race. We all get there when we get there. Plus, it's just been cool getting to see you grow and. hopefully, have fun.

i just read the description and it's okay! From a person with AuDHD who is prone to burnouts we understand the struggle! Handling burnout is never easy but you just need to take time off and take aaallll the time you need and can to focus on yourself and allow yourself to reset in order to work again! You can do this and remember that we will always wait for you no matter how long! You comes first!

Yeah there was a lookalike but Lorenzo still was like not a good guy before that. He groomed listener and made her cut ties with family and that was before he switched out with the lookalike. He also cheated and it wasn’t the fake because Julian isn’t related to the lookalike. So Lorenzo was still an asshole before just not insane. Also poor Julian :(((
