Soda Stereo was born in the mid 80's when the New Wave rock music was in its prime. So its common the comparisons with U2, The Police, and many others like those. Because they all were inspired by these bands and by New Wave (and of course previous gigantic bands from the past decades).
If you had one fan from Argentina before, now after hearing a song from us you will have tons of fans. lol. The Argentinian is very proud of their music and culture.
I like the enthusiasm they put into their reactions to Soda Stereo and it's no wonder since for Ibero-Americans it's about the Beatles from Argentina. I mean, the best Rock band in the Hispanic World!

Soda Stereo was born in the mid 80's when the New Wave rock music was in its prime. So its common the comparisons with U2, The Police, and many others like those. Because they all were inspired by these bands and by New Wave (and of course previous gigantic bands from the past decades).
