My biggest letdown in Elden Ring is that Lichdragon Fortissax, the boss with the most metal name in the entire game, does not have an intro cinematic before fighting him. Absolutely criminal.
Also reaosnably low health for such a fantastic end game boss. placidusiax was given much better treatment than fortisaxx was, easily 2 of the best fights in the entire game
@GregoThe3rd agheel is unrionically one of my favorite bosses in the game. Due to having one of the best opening scenes where he swoops down and incinerates an island in front of you, and then is your first dragon you'll likely encounter, just makes it special compared to the other lesser dragons.
from a lore standpoint isn't he like really fucked up and barely alive during this fight? I wish the dragons in general were harded. ER is great but way easier to cheese than souls
@@pleasedonotvisitmychannel Yeah let me just play the game with a longsword and shield sounds great 🤡. What I'm saying is that new game feels a little too easy sometimes compared to bloodborne or souls 1.

Fortissax is a victim of this games scaling. Most people don’t get to Deeproot Depths till late so they’re pretty over leveled for him. Still awesome tho.
Do it right and you can climb the deathblight spikes in the arena without breaking them. In the video its likely Fortissax or the player already broke the one it was on, leading to a floating message.

why did this fight have to be locked behind gargoyle duo? the fight is so ridiculously unfair that I overleveled like crazy just to kill them, then this fight was drastically easier as a result. cool design, ost, and moveset, but being unable to fight it at an appropriate level because of how stupid the gargoyles are is sad
You can also access it at the Three Fingers’ basement - rolling into one of the walls dispels an illusion with a chest, and rolling into the next dispels an illusion leading to deeproot
@@stevenayala9873 well at least I know that for future playthroughs. does that mean D's quest will progress by me reaching there, or is that only by killing the gargoyles?
Still gets me 2 years later that this boss is glossed over because it’s tied to a sh*tty SIDEQUEST that most people aren’t even aware exists until they look at the wiki to see all possible endings. It also doesn’t help that this boss is WAY easier than the area you find it in, so most of the time you nuke it before you can get a good look or listen to it. Ahh. Elden Ring. If only he plunged the second lightning bolt a bit faster to sync with the music. It would also make him a tougher fight
