    Oh hell no. Never. I still remever watching the news as I saw that boat sink in 2018. A couple months later i remeber my family taking a trip to the place that held the duck boats. It was nighttime and we were walking looking at the other duck boats and something felt oddly creepy about them. I remever asking where the one that sunk was and they said it was in a storage place. I am so glad I never saw that one. Those poor people. I used to live there for the longest time

      They're running specialized boats now anyway that have enough reserve buoyancy that they literally can't sink so the risk would be the same in pretty much every company. Especially considering it's not even the same owners that own ride the duck now

    I will not support these "New Ducks" after the death of many family members. What r the fishermen/women supposed to do? I think this is in poor taste. My family and I enjoyed the old duck tours . My mother, daughter, son, spouse, granddaughter all rode the old ducks and had a fantastic time not knowing potential dangers. It makes me sad for the family's loss. I still come to Branson for other events.

    • @bekiller7847

      It was a tragic accident where the storm blew up while they were in the water it was a bad judgment call to go in as captain hindsight would say. BUT anthing can happen in life not guaranteed tomorrow. Someone could drive through Basspro Branson landing parking lot and kill many families too its just the way life can shake out sometimes. Have fun while you can.

    • @ThePainWhisperer
      @ThePainWhisperer 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bekiller7847 They also had poor judgement with the maintenance of their fleet in Seattle. It was a miracle the duck didn't fall off the Aurora Bridge. The Aurora Bridge is extremely high. Their lack if responsibility could have caused MANY more deaths. Due to the public outcry, Ride The Duck has never returned to Seattle. Then the incident in Branson. It is CRYSTAL CLEAR, this company DOES NOT take safety seriously.

    I am happy to see that someone brought Duck tours back to Branson! We road the original ones several times and always loved them. It was a tragedy and my heart aches for those families that lost loved ones but life has to go on.
    I guess I don't understand those saying they won't support this. That is like saying you will never ride in an airplane or work in an office building because of tragedies that have happened. I am sure this new company has learned from what happened before and is capable of handling any situation, should it occur. But It is the personal opinion of others and I respect that.
    I do have to ask Amy, what kind of backpack are you wearing in this video?

    • @mrjp-72z8
      @mrjp-72z8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As a friend of one of the people who passed in the tragedy, that is such an insensitive and disgusting comment to make. The fact 17 people died 4 years before and all they care about it bringing them back to make money is why people don’t support it. I’d really like to see you just keep on living life normally after losing your whole family and being the sole survivor, do you think they get to have that pleasure??

  • @baileyostrom2972
    @baileyostrom2972 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    • @ThePainWhisperer
      @ThePainWhisperer 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ride the Ducks ignored safety procedures in both Seattle and Branson. They neglected proper maintenance and ignored the safety issues with the axel's on the ducks in Seattle. They ignored safety procedures before entering the water on Table Rock Lake. Both resulting in senseless numerous deaths. You would think after the Seattle incident they would have demanded the UTMOST respect for safety. I live in both Seattle and Branson. Though Seattle is a big city, the accident on the Aurora Bridge was shocking to the city. Due to public outcry, the ducks didn't return to Seattle. I am shocked they have returned to Branson.
