(Still alive) in 2002, (before I was born) my half brother, my dads first wife, (before my birth mom) my half sister, and my dads mother-in-law all died in a car crash. All died beside my half brother who was paralyzed for the waist down from the crash. My dad would think of his wife and his daughter every day, and then, my mother came along and married my dad. Then who had me, 2 of my sisters, and my brother. He is doing well now that I have a 2 year old baby brother and sister. He said that my baby sister “Ava” reminded him of my other half sister “Lexi” (who died in the car crash). The lines “I’m here without you baby, but your still on my lonely mind, i think about you baby, and I dream about you all the time” Really makes my think of what my dad went though. Still I will always remember this song, and how special it is to my family, and myself. (Half brother was 3 yrs in the crash, and my half sister was 1 yr.

I know this is a love song but it can be applied to death too. I lost my little brother when I was 13 yrs. old and that loss broke my heart. It's been 8 years since that day and I'm now almost 21. People told me in time the pain would heal........No time is long enough to take the pain away, all time does is make you learn to live with the pain. I will forever walk with a broken heart.

This song reminds me of my daughter who I have not seen in 10 years due to the fact that we both live in different states on opposite sides of the country but I will see her in about a week & I will play this song for her. I cry everytime I hear it because every word in it reminds me of my baby girl.

I think of my dad when listening to this song. (Still alive) in 2002, (before I was born) my half brother, my dads first wife, (before my birth mom) my half sister, and my dads mother-in-law all died in a car crash. All died beside my half brother who was paralyzed for the waist down from the crash. My dad would think of his wife and his daughter every day, and then, my mother came along and married my dad. Then who had me, 2 of my sisters, and my brother. He is doing well now that I have a 2 year old baby brother and sister. He said that my baby sister “Ava” reminded him of my other half sister “Lexi” (who died in the car crash). The lines “I’m here without you baby, but your still on my lonely mind, i think about you baby, and I dream about you all the time” Really makes my think of what my dad went though. Still I will always remember this song, and how special it is to my family, and myself. (Half brother was 3 yrs in the crash, and my half sister was 1 yr.
I adore this song, I've been listening to it all my life, and I have found a boy that makes me realize how much meaning it truly has. It's a complicated story. He lives really far away and there's every chance in the world I might lose him to someone else, but I still love him. My heart aches when I think about how little my chances are.
