Destinee Dante Hooker (born September 7, 1987) is an American indoor volleyball player. She is a 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m) opposite attacker. Hooker was a member of the United States women's national volleyball team. She starred in both volleyball and track and field at the University of Texas.

Ebrar Karakurt (born 17 January 2000) is a Turkish volleyball player. She is 1.96 m (6 ft 5 in) tall and plays as opposite. She is part of the Turkey women's national volleyball team.

Destinee Hooker was two consecutive two times Grand Prix champion in 2010 and 2011, Ebrar despite his young age does not yet have any relevant title for the adult team.
Ebrar needs to win something, so that he can be compared to someone.

Brazilian SuperLiga Champion, Korean Volleyball League Champion (1 child), China Volleyball League Champion (2 children). Destinee was the Best Opposite and USA was the #1 rank team in the world during her time. Karakurt need to work harder.

Havent seen any better opposite ever since 2012 Hooker!! She was flying in the air, strecthing like a spring in the air. Usa wouldnt have won that silver medal in 2012 if it wasnt for her. She s old now, plays fairly good but her peak years are gone.

If you compare Destinee Hooker in her prime to the other girl, hands down Hookers wins. Shes coming back after not playing a few years and the other girl is in her prime. Hooker for sure
But we can't be sure that is Karakurt's best... There is a long way she has and i think she will get better. So i don't think we can compare them. Ofcourse this is only my opinion.

Ebrar is in her time, but she is still far away from the best time of the career of Destinee Hooker. And Destinee still play on high class clubs even after the injuries, that's why Destinee is still better than Karakourt.

right! the only reason Destinee Hooker isn't at the level that she used to be at is because for one she's older now and two she's had two children, so her level of play has gone down a little bit, but she's still in great form! I mean she just won the chinese v- league this season

How can you compare a veteran to an upcoming player. Destinee Hooker is hands down better & more experienced than her. Has more accomplishments & etc. Even if we was to compare 20 year old Destinee to Eber, that’s still no comparison. All in all, enough w/comparing. Everyone is good in their own way.
