What a work of art. Great job Ant. I just built a new, albeit very small wall myself. I’m a woman in my mid sixties and I love rocks! The rocks were all collected from the property. I’m using the small ones to veneer the lower part of the barn. Keep on rocking.
@@ants_countrylife well you certainly are very talented. I can't recall ever seeing a Stone wall here in the states, the likes of which you have there. I find it remarkable
Good morning Ant, what a beautiful home land. The wall is not just beautiful but amazing. I know you take pride in your work as you should. Thank you for sharing you for sharing this with us.
Good morning from NZ. Beautiful day for walling. Look at all that firewood. You have made a great job of the wall, its very straight and looks strong. Thank you for showing us the insects too. Enjoy your day and thank you.
If I had a stone wall that was knocked down like this one - I would have had to sit and have a long cry - breaks my heart to see it even in the video - but you made it look beautiful again, thank you for caring for the landscape!!! Sending lots of hugs your way
Great Wall of Ant! What did you say? "It's been a bit of a chow on." Whaaaat? We had a massive thunderstorm/windstorm about 2 months ago in Colorado and 3 of our giant pine trees were knocked down. It cost $1500 (US dollars) to chop the trees into bits and remove the stumps! We have gas fireplaces, so we didn't even keep the wood.
Had to smile when you showed the finished wall, beautiful, skilled, absolutely straight, the Romans would have been proud of it and your comment was “looks alright”! 😂
Ah- what a shame to lose trees - no matter the reason. The wall is looking great . Beautiful countryside and cute critters of all sorts! Thanks for sharing ,Ant. I always look forward to these videos. Been enjoying everyone of them . ❤Marilyn x
You are a master waller. I really enjoy the videos that include the wildlife & insects & birds. Can a "non" waller look at a wall & recognize who actually did the work. In other words, are there special ways one waller builds walls that distinguish him from others?
Walling is a verb I never knew I would use, lol Question- is this work done for individuals, businesses or is it a government job? Also how did this become your job? That wood wasp is scary looking
Looking good
Looks great 🤩

What a beautiful view from your “office” Anthony, such a clever skill to make a beautiful wall out of bits of stone with no cement!
Ahhh yes Indeed, another beautiful enlightening video! But more hard work, awesome scenery! Take care 🇨🇦💖👍👍🦋🌈
How many years does it take to become an expert at this art/skill? This is incredible talent!
@@madelinewhick7467 Thankyou I’ve been stone walling since I was just young and it takes many years to become good at it

My curiosity is wondering, What would be the average cost to repair/replace a wall such as this one? My brain is thinking $$$$ if done in the States!
