Love Curtis Blaydes!!! Such a beast. Before anyone says anything negative. He was born with a speech impediment. One of the nicest, genuine dudes.
It sounds like a stutter usually induced by anxiety. Not really a birth issue more of an anxious disorder that can be managed with speech therapy but he seems to have pretty good control of it.
I had a close friend with a super severe stutter, and once it started it always got worse because they become aware that they’re stuttering and it increases the anxiety around it then it just gets more prominent.
Curtis is the man

Curtis in my opinion is the dark horse lurking over the division, especially as he gets more confident in his striking, I honestly think he can beat anybody in the division.

Jones on Steve-O's Wild Ride i believe, said he was 221-224lb when he stepped in the cage typically. For guys like Cyril&Stipe who are under 250 who move well with Good Cardio I could see him Being 235-240 for guys like Curtis and Sergei who are powerful wrestlers/ Strikers Over 250 I could see him letting himself get up into the 244 Range. Putting on anymore than 20lbs Would Probably Start to hinder him.
That podcast was almost 3 years ago. He said he was 255 in Oct so 4 months ago.

This is my favorite food truck so far. Always like watching Blaydes fight, but getting to hear him in a conversation and how humble and respectful he is, im definitely rooting for him to get his shot
