Game ended 2:2 and sent YUG to Netherlands instead of Mexico. So basically, you do need some luck to progress deep into the tournament... I remember in Italy 1990 world cup, Argentina had all the luck in the world. Knocked out Brasil with one shot on target after Brasililans hit woodwork 3 or 4 times and had numerous chanses to score. Arg won 1:0. Next two rounds were inferior to YUG and ITALY and went through on penalties... YUG best penalty takers missed, same as Italy... So they made to the finals by playing some sub par football... And somehow, always the greatest football nations have luck on their side 😅

Česi koji su 96. bili finalisti EURA. Mi ih oba puta dobili, a čak su jedno vreme bili i iza Slovačke do samog kraja kvalifikacija.:)
Ajde što smo ih dobili...nego smo imali 2x bolji tim od Češke,i česi su igrali finale EP 1996,a mi samo 1/8 na tom SP 1998.
