Anything and anybody is certainly more than what meets the eye. It’s this belief indeed that urged us to find the extraordinary stories in the ordinary, mundane things. And in our journey, we stumbled upon this charming personality, a bus conductor who also happens to be an artist with amazing talents like mimicry and singing.
His day starts at 4:30 am, six days a week. He walks around 12kms inside a bus every day on duty. He has to deal with so many people and also ensure the hisaab is perfect. And while he narrated this tale to us, not a single frown broke out on his face. He is larger than life, optimistic and happily pursues his passion in the middle of his chaotic schedule, celebrating both the duty and the gift with utmost love.
He is not just in love with life, but also in love with the people he meets on the bus. And that’s only possible when you are in absolute love with yourself. Yes, it’s possible. It’s possible for people wearing uniforms to have a skill that goes beyond it. It’s possible that the people we see every day are much more than what we imagined them to be. And it’s most certainly possible that happiness doesn’t come with richness. We learnt all of this from this man. And we’re putting it out here so all
of you can learn too.
