I read an article from BBC which interview Chelsea Clinton's mother-in-law, she said the same as you did, as long as she ran a president, everyone hates her and she also predicted that she would lose again.
With her collapsing defeat to Obama in 2008, it was very apparent from then on that Hillary was a paper tiger.
Here's some interesting info: Chelsea's mother-in-law is Marjorie Margolies-Mezhvinsky, whose political career was basically destroyed by the Clintons. In the early nineties she was a freshman democratic congresswoman from PA involved in a tight re-election race. When Bill Clinton became president he (unwisely) put Hillary in charge of his health care initiative, which became known as Hillarycare. It proved to be unpopular, and Bill was having difficulty getting votes in the House, so he strong-armed Margolies-Mezhvinsky into a yes vote. She knew that it was was basically a career suicide, yet she did so anyway. Her husband (Chelsea's late father-in-law Ed Mezhvinsky) was well-known for shady dealings, and I suspect the Clintons threatened to go after him if she did not do as she was told. Later her son marries the daughter of the people who destroyed her. An arranged marriage of political convenience. You can't make this stuff up.

When Tulsi had the gall to call out what the "neutral" DNC was doing she was uninvited to the debates and when she endorsed Bernie the DNC chastised her and refused to help her raise money for her campaign. The Clinton (and in many ways the Obama) party bosses ruled with an iron fist and because it was done mostly behind closed doors the public was none the wiser. When Bernie was openly chested and the emails were released thr public went nuts. The DNC was forced to have her step down but Clinton hired her before the press release was even sent out.

The book was a good read, pretty unbeleiveable that she thought she was entitled to win.
I was watching Morning Joe before MSNBC went black, and Trump was asked what he thought of various people using one word descriptors. He was asked about Bill Clinton. He said "Intelligent". Then Hillary Clinton. He said "Evil". He was right on both counts.

Trump ran a "less than perfect" campaign. No, I would say steamrolling all entrenched Republican candidates and dominating the main one against all polls is pretty damn close.

I was no Trump fan when he won and was genuinely concerned about him being president. But after some time seeing what he was doing for the country and noticing the all out war the establishment was waging against him I started to come around. Looking back now I see the hippocrasey and deception of the left that is going on to this day. Right now they're trying to smear Trump because they're terrified he will run again and they know they have done absolutely nothing to keep people from voting for him again. These people here are still talking about racism and "don't you think people are just misinformed" 🙄 NO! People realized that establishment politicians like Hillary Clinton have done nothing for them in the DECADES they've had to do it and they wanted a change no matter who it came from.
It's hard to believe that Hilary had either sympathy or empathy.....or gee..even any loyality.

The dichotomy is this book could only be written by insiders, but their partisan bias is a detriment. It is hard to have confidence in the material when the political viewpoints become contrary to empirical truth. It's analogous to the election itself to witness otherwise intelligent humans profoundly disconnected from reality.

Jonathan Allen says that journalists are 6 weeks ahead of the public in knowing what a politician is really like.

Hillary beat Obama in popular vote but Democrats never want to talk about that. So the whole popular vote argument isn't really that important to them.
Kellyanne Conway put it best when discussing her strategy for winning. The way to win is through electoral votes. Why waste time and money campaigning in California or NY? You may gain in the overall popular vote but you risk losing electoral votes in states that you could have put that time and effort in.
Michigan is a great example. Sara Palin tried telling McCain that it could be won by Republicans buy his campaign team dismissed this. Trump won it.
Had it not been for Kellyanne Trump may have attempted to win the popular vote and ended up losing the election.
In their presentation, they didn't mention a word about her record as a long time leading insider of the washington bubble. Nor did they dare to address the substantial criticism about everything she really stands for (in contrast to what all her helpers try to portray her). She is a neoliberal, anti worker, pro wall street warmonger who generally views common people as serfs who owe her their vote and basically built a career on always taking and never giving anything back. People wouldn't wait 2 terms watching Obama failing to deliver the "change" he promised only to pass the torch to the very same person who - if you actually believe that Obama was somewhat left of his own administration (a thing I personally doubt) - did most to make the obama years look like a prolongment of the bush legacy. People wanted CHANGE - Trump at least presented himself as an alternative to his base while the DNC did everything possible to contain their base and have them accept a candidate that - as it turns out - had nothing to offer to them and was so bad that in the end, even the prospect of having a Trump presidency could not bring them to vote for her (and guess who they blamed in the end after sexism, violent bernie-bro's and all the other rubbish did not work). This is completely overlooked in this discussion so far (havent listened to the Q&A, but they should have it addressed themselves anyway) - instead they are portraying her as a victim - a person who is personally responsible for the deaths of thousands of people, elderly, women and children who did nothing wrong exept for living in a country who's leader got in her crosshairs for geostrategic reasons. I was one of the "Basket of Deplorables" and I have to say that it was a BIG mistake on Hillary's part. That phrase was worn as a badge of honor by Trump supporters nationwide and it still may be to this day. Hillary didn't capitalize on the voting public's appetite for a change candidate, no matter how 'mean' Trump was perceived to be. She could have made herself up as a change candidate if she wanted to but didn't.

I think the writers came off as objective regardless of how they felt about the candidates( at least on this forum). It really makes me relieved that I never was a politician. I only WOKE during this Presidential election. There seemed to be more at stake to me than previous ones. Part of me wishes I was politically ignorant again, but I guess that’s not happening.
If you really want to know what happened in the 2016 presidential election, I highly recommend "the making of a president" by Roger Stone. Much more grounded in reality than the liberal rationalizations presented in this video.

I soon realised my error, but still, the mis-hear just about gets it right.

That Superdelegates answer was so weak, as well as disingenuous. What it ignores is that normal delegates are beholden to the will of the voters in the primaries. Superdelegates are not. The public perception, and a justified one, is that Superdelegates are a path for the party to strongarm a predetermined candidate onto the ballot. Often, the Superdelegates announce their intention ahead of those primaries, which adds a chilling effect to (for example) Super Tuesday voters who favor another candidate, even after that candidate wins in early primaries.
