Leather is a skin and if you keep that in mind, it is a breeze to maintain. Just like if you laid out in the sun getting a tan, your convertible will dry out, flake and need far more moisture. To get the best end result, apply a thick coat of leather moisturizer and leave it on overnight. Then wipe off any excess that has not been absorbed and lightly buff. If the leather is really dry and brittle, you may need to do this multiple times. Wait a few days between the applications if possible. I wish I had some before and after photos of leather I have restored to demonstrate. I always used the same products I used on expensive handbags and boots. My 2006 BMW which I purchased new has leather that remains in great condition. Ask your wife or girlfriend what she uses and then sneak some onto your leather upholstery! You want something that will sink in through the pores and not just build up on top of the skin.....finally something I know about in one of your videos!
Someone never conditioned the leather.. People just don’t realize that real leather especially of this fine grade is delicate and needs regular conditioning... I also feel the word leather is so misused in the car world, Aston Martin is definitely real leather, but the stuff they call “leather” in cheap cars feels more like rubber...
Can't wait to see her going down the road!!
Was going to take it out today and then we get crappy weather.

I could not have said it better myself.
How did you remove the climate/radio bezel?
Here is a link to Richard from Red Pants. He sells Aston parts and is the only place I go to.

@@JohnEngel I already had the nav part removed, waterfall, I'm kind of stuck with the lower portion that has the radio and climate accessories
@@namelast4606 if I recall correctly and it has been a while. I think you have to remove the lower armrest section to get to the screws.
Where did you purchase the center console replacement from?
eBay.
leatherique is good on dry leather, it will do nothing for heat shrunk leather, that is irreversible
Good point. If you can get dry leather to absorb some of it, then you are able to get a little more stretch out of it.
