Graham looks so much better, he got his color back, his beard and hair are slowly coming back, and he's slowly looking like his old self again. As a cancer survivor myself, I can't help but crack a smile every time I see him. I used to watch tons of LRR during my own miserable chemo times, so... Good to have you back, G-Money. ❤
What in the hyper specific hell!? How were Jacob and I at the same Spider man musical!? He said “And then the green goblin got stuck for half an hour” To which I had a a slum dog millionaire style flashback of looking at the green goblin awkwardly dangle in front of me in New York on his glider. Unless I’m misremembering this whole affair in which case this is VERY awkward. For context, I was there with my high schools band for our big trip at the time to New York. I’m from a small town in the south and going to the “big Apple”was a REALLY big deal at the time. And if memory serves the time frame would be around May of 2012. Either way keep up the good work y’all this video was amazing!
As an update, YES! There was a Canadian TV game show that was literally just charades. It was called Acting Crazy. And I concur with Alex, if you have bigger teams, a dedicated stage area would be pretty great for visibility. Small side table for the deck or something like that.
Indeed. I need more of this in my life. A lot of AFK games bore me about halfway through, but I need to see this team playing more of this game. This is the perfect example of a game I'm really interested in but couldn't handle playing IRL. Bring back Jacob. He's got a natural bonus as a voice actor in some rounds, but he gets hilariously exasperated in the charade round. It's perfect!
I read about the "YIF YIF YIF" moment in the comments before seeing it, and I STILL had to pause the video because I was laughing so hard. I can't wait for you guys to do this again.
Had to pause the stream at "YIFF YIFF YIFF" because I was laughing too hard to process anything else for a while Edit: And again at Jacob's gesture for the Marquis
I wanna propose to LRR the way my friend group usually plays Monikers (which IMO works better with small player counts): Instead of having two teams, you just have one person giving clues to everyone else. We often don't keep score, but if we did, it'd be per cluegiver. (Yes that means there's an incentive for hyper-competitive people to never guess. So just don't play with hyper-competitive people; it's not supposed to be a hyper-competitive game.)
One way you can do it is have the cluegiver and the guesser get a point, this incentives both (and as long as you aren't being insane about it, there's little incentive to sandbag the clue giver - though they could be incentivized to make clues easier for one person than another, which probably just adds depth).
Urban Dictionary feels that "shmeng" is a word, although it offers not etymology so it isn't impossible that Alex created it. Rather than a general term for unpleasant crud, it references specific unpleasant crud.
Love this game. My version is called times up, specifically "times up: Title recall". My preferred version because it's titles of media instead of names. Much easier to get someone to guess toy story if they don't know it, than guess a person they don't know
This stream was hysterical, I can't wait for the next time you play it! I think I have an idea for how I would act out Marquis de Sade but uh... I'll refrain from actually typing it out
I'll be honest, if I had to act out Marquis de Sade, because I don't actually know much about it, I'd probably resort to trying to act out an unhappy tent.
So, I've played a version of this with magic cards, riffing on the "guess your fate" attraction. We used our calendar decks, so it was cards we all knew. It went really well, we limited ourselves to 3 words.
I have not laughed that hard at anything you folks have done in a long time. Encore! Also, for Marquis du Sade: Stand upright, proudly. Motion as if unfurling the contents of your trousers on to the table. Then gesture as though you are hammering a nail through it. While, yes, that might be more masochistic than sadistic, I think it would get the point across quite firmly in that given context.
I have learned exactly one mind-boggling thing from this stream and it is that "chessboxing" is a real thing that exists. o___o also YES IAN AND BEEJ. IAN! AND! BEEJ! IANANDBEEJ
also funnily enough played this game tonight with a bunch of co-workers and a family with some young kids that I met for the first time. Was a blast! We didn't quite follow round 2 properly (people still gestured) but still difficult and fun! 6 people each team.
What a marvellous stream! Eager to see it return to LRR. One teeny tiny correction though. There *is* a mechanical change in an expansion. The Serious Nonsense box includes a little booster pack of "Fourth Rounds" with incredibly daft constraints. The bit is that if you want to play a 4th round you can randomise into one of them.
Actually, if LRR have the same printing I have (btw, they literally sold a copy based off this stream) the instructions mention the 4th round as a tie-breaker and note they're available online or in the SUSD expansion as you mention.
Took way too long to remember the name Stella Liebeck (the coffee lady), but twice you counted it as super easy like coffee burned lady... like its a 4 point card because it's hard
Ratking thing; honestly same, surprised it hasn't shown up in the Souls games Seems like it would be right up their ally. Likewise, haven't seen it in DnD, seems like a perfect boss monster or such. Could even tie in with Pied Pipers. A giant rat that controls an army of rats thru a flute, etc
I'm so sorry, I swear I love you all. But I have a VISCERAL hatred for Jackson Pollock and his work so when his name came up I angry-glared at the screen. I feel so guilty now.
This was one of those episodes where as soon as it ended my first thought was "I can't wait for them to play this again."
I love alexs tactic of repeating the word until his teammate has the answer psychicly beamed to them.
Alex aggressively repeating words will never fail to bring joy. It has remained true in the entire almost 2 decades of LRR.
Ass, ass, ASS -

Whoo, my donation finally made it to the table. Glad they liked the game.
THANK YOU FOR BRINGING US THIS MASTERPIECE ❤
THANK! THANK! THANK THANK THANK! THANKTHANKTHANKTHANKTHANKTHANKTHANKTHANKTHANKTHANKTHANKTHANK!
Thanks so much for the copy!
At around 41 minutes, three people laughed for a solid, interminable, unflinching sixty seconds; Jacob, Graham, and me. I can't breathe. Thank you.
I died during that minute laughing myself xD

I'm here from the highlights, because this looked amazing, and turns out - it is! I not only wanna see more of this, but I'm buying a copy right now.
I just went through the exact same process and now have a copy on the way.
this is a fever dream of an afk, yiff, power bottom, jacob air jerking and table humping, QUALITY content 10/10
I now *need* to see Ian and Jacob play this together.
Imagine the unfairness of Ian & Beej being on a team together...
ian jacob kathleen cameron gooooo!

This episode deserves a dedicated highlight reel.
I am SO ready to confuse people with the out of context YIFF
Had to pause the stream at "YIFF YIFF YIFF" because I was laughing too hard to process anything else for a while
Edit: And again at Jacob's gesture for the Marquis
Jacob visibly taking psychic damage
I liked how the other team was cracking the hell up.
This game was a revelation. I beg you to play with Cameron, Ian, Adam and Beej.
I love Jacob and Alex. We need more of them. Also Graham and Alex are dope too.
G and A used to be able to do a show called “Watch and Play”. Check them out
Specifically, watch the "Prayer Warriors" episode for roughly three straight hours of laughter.
This stream was absolutely an all-timer and now my face hurts.
love jacobs slowly breaking as he realises "oh god thats on the internet forever"
I have not laughed this hard in awhile. This stream was a delight.
I hope Alex frantically yelling "yiff" over and over makes it to the highlight reel.
Alex learning about Caligula on camera was a real treat.
Trying to have this as my background video while I played Pokemon was a mistake because this video demanded my full attention.

I didn't expect an important life lesson in a FAQ... should read those more often
I'm absolutely howling at Paul's Babar joke!
Holy Crap. Graham looks just like a younger version of his Dad in the thumbnail.
More than usual, that is.
Urban Dictionary feels that "shmeng" is a word, although it offers not etymology so it isn't impossible that Alex created it.
Rather than a general term for unpleasant crud, it references specific unpleasant crud.
Graham as a noticeable hairline and moustache again, nature is healing and so is Graham.
I know in the heat of the moment mind goes blank, but man am I thinking "you have Hal 9000! Your one word should be 'Daisy Daaiissyy' for perfection."
59:04 Jacob is my comedy crush for that back-to-back, hahaha
By round 2 this game reallllly takes off
The face Jacob's making in the thumbnail clinched whether I was going to watch now or later.
I just want to say Matt is very good at Charades, and "the crash" just about killed me with laughter.
41:04. You know which round this one was.
2:10:05. You also know which round this one lead into.
The expansions for Monikers really take it to 11. Also, Time's Up is quite similar but based on movies and TV shows.
Love this game. My version is called times up, specifically "times up: Title recall". My preferred version because it's titles of media instead of names. Much easier to get someone to guess toy story if they don't know it, than guess a person they don't know

Great show! Really look forward to seeing this game played again.
1:06:22 Hey! A “The Panalysts” reference!
I'll be honest, if I had to act out Marquis de Sade, because I don't actually know much about it, I'd probably resort to trying to act out an unhappy tent.
Graham's kraken impression will live in my head rent free from now on

I'm always super excited to see Jacob! We need more of his beautiful face!
I have learned exactly one mind-boggling thing from this stream and it is that "chessboxing" is a real thing that exists. o___o also YES IAN AND BEEJ. IAN! AND! BEEJ! IANANDBEEJ
What a great group of people and a fun game. Matt was so great at the charade rounds! That Princess Diana and the parkour!
also funnily enough played this game tonight with a bunch of co-workers and a family with some young kids that I met for the first time. Was a blast! We didn't quite follow round 2 properly (people still gestured) but still difficult and fun! 6 people each team.
This was a blast and I eagerly await its many returns.
"team with lowest score goes first next round" - immediately forgotten
Graham looks a lot like Andy Partridge of XTC, now. This is a good thing to look like :)
If I was in the next game I’d absolutely make sure Jacob was there too, and that the Marquis de Sade card was too
JACOB OH MY GOD THE TABLE
Please play this again! It was hilarious to see, i’m hurting from how much I laughed
My only regret is that the entire internet won’t see Jacob’s Marquis de Sade
What a marvellous stream! Eager to see it return to LRR.

@@gaz-l621 huh. That's mildly disappointing.
Either way, most of the 4th rounds seem exactly up their alley...
@@SixSidedVice yes but they're also not all doable on the AFK set
you act out "Marquis de sade" with a whip
Alex there are 2 rat king bosses in Dark souls 2
Such a good stream - thanks yall!
Well, Paul, to be perfectly honest I don't really know how to act out debilitating tertiary syphilis.
The thumbnail kind of looked like Graham and Jacob where being confronted with AU versions of themselves.
we need more of this!
This was so fun to watch!
And the start shows why Live TV shows double mic the talent.
Matt is good at pantomime.
Just press 3 on your numpad for an amazing time with Alex on this one!
41:06, for you fine folks on mobile.
@@hiimemily Totally forgot about that, my bad and good call, thanks!
1:43:36, My objection is entirely tongue in cheek, and mostly based on the fact I retain enough fluency to know what my handle means >P.
I would love to see you play this again. It's such a fun one to watch.
Freaking love the updated intro
glad Jacob beat me to correcting Graham's left and right.
damn and now Alex getting in on the "was it called charades"
In my language the game is called The Hat and the second round is my favorite
Took way too long to remember the name Stella Liebeck (the coffee lady), but twice you counted it as super easy like coffee burned lady... like its a 4 point card because it's hard
This was great thanks!
Ratking thing; honestly same, surprised it hasn't shown up in the Souls games

Could even tie in with Pied Pipers. A giant rat that controls an army of rats thru a flute, etc
I, too, enjoy YIFF YIFF YIFF YIFF YIFF YIFF YIFF YIFF YIFF YIFF
that cackle .... amazing
That was insane but one of the funniest things I've ever seen
More of this, please.
I had no clue who Marquis de Sode was when I watched this, but after googling them, I burst out.
Okay so I think Alex's fursona is officially a fox after that...
Yif! Yif! Yif! Yif!
Graham mohawk please? You don't have to keep it, but just once mohawk pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase
love the mix of the cast! jacob at the end ended me
Elaborate plot to get Adam to say "Dick!"?
What an entire game. Incredible.
I was just getting used to bald graham, and here I am surprised by graham having hair :P
Pretty sure I've never laughed so hard.
I still think Monikers: the Gathering could absolutely work 😆
This was so good! Great game!
And I'd love to see a stump wheeler + monikers mashup with iconic magic cards😂
Monikers sounds like the name for a group of people named "Monica"
Just imagining Beej an Ian playing this game is already.... giving me nightmares
But would love to see!
The parts where ya'll just do charades makes me think ya'll should play The Mind.
Matt would make an amazing mime
Is Graham's mike... Mike 5?
Graham dabbing gif please?
oh my god.
No one! Can do the marquis better than Jacob
I'm so sorry, I swear I love you all. But I have a VISCERAL hatred for Jackson Pollock and his work so when his name came up I angry-glared at the screen. I feel so guilty now.
