    The healthcare here is honestly scary like I've heard stories from the nurses that patients would be waiting entire WEEKENDS at the er

      That is true, and even patients sent to other cities from ERs.

    less opportunities in NB thats hard facts

    1. Poor Health Care
    2. Higher property taxes
    3. Higher provincial income tax
    4. Sales tax is higher
    5. Gas and dairy is expensive compared to neighbouring provinces
    6. No entertainment
    7. Electricity price is insane
    8. Winter months can cause depression
    9. Flight travel from NB is very high compared to neighbouring NS.
    10. Value of properties increased over 200% in last 5 years and I still don’t understand why.

    • @QuestCanada
      @QuestCanada  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      This list is overly negative and I do not agree on may points here. Healthcare system in NB is comparable to other provinces in Canada. Entertainmnet - there are many activities you can enjoy in the province that will cost you little to none. Depresion during winter months is a person to person situation. If you choose to be depresed it doesnt matter if its winter or summer. Value of properties increased across Canada and the world not just NB.Flight costs - depends where you will go.

      @@QuestCanada NB is not comparable to some other provinces, I can attest to that having used three provinces single payer systems.

    Good video and very accurate. Don’t forget double property tax on multiple properties. NB is the Only province in Canada that does this. Ridiculous

    As long as they provide job opportunities to the population their presence is of course advantageous
    They reduce unemployment and contribute to the province development
    How can we see their presence as disadvantageous

    Many people are negative in NB because they don't have options like others in regard to leaving or starting a new life elsewhere and have ben priced out of the housing and rental market. Others just have had bad experiences dealing with a province where the electorate are more spectators than participants due to a family's influence on the legislature. It's easier to be negative about NB for many for many reasons.

    I see no reason why Canada is not allowing international nurses to integrate into the medical field, especially with the dying situation in the country. I would have suggested a one year or 6 months additional course to validate their competence if need be.

    • @rps1689
      @rps1689 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Problem is the nurses that are needed the most are ones with a lot of experience and are specialized, which NB can't attract due to location, better incentives, and bonuses other provinces offer.
