It kind of sucks they kept making this game in Japan and not the US. I use to love collecting and playing this game. That card with a white back is a Super Rare from a older sets.
@@TragicMTG looking it up the White card backs are part of an Extra Deck mechanic called Gacha, so it indicates cards that are to be pulled away from the Main Deck at the start of a game.
Amazon will buy Hasbro eventually and try to squeeze too much juice out of WOTC. Kitchen table Magic will keep the game alive until Standard gets rebooted by one of Elon Musks grandchildren, a guy by the name of J35U5 H C4r157musk
I had a lot of fun opening one of these boxes with my kids. Now they can say they pulled a Black Lotus from a pack.
That black card is Living Death.

Yeah the original Library is way better. Original Natural Order is infinitely better as well, shame they won't use it.

Does the different back make it not legal for tournaments or does it matter?

I used to play this when it was released in the us. Was alot of fun and great gate way to magic. Kinda a cross between magic Yu-Gi-Oh and pokemon
