Hello Saylors!! This FMS T-28 or F4U 800mm will fly just fine with a 3s 1000mah with no alterations. Mine do. It wakes them right up..
Why in the world do they say it’s a 2S plane?! This thing would benefit greatly from that 3S power, though it did fly fine on 2S, I’d like to try this again soon on 3S. Thanks AirHammer 👍💯😎⚓️
The question I'm going to answer is this-- "Have the RC Saylor's reviews influenced an R/C purchase I've made ??"
The answer is YES and multiple times at that. On their opinions I've bought several R/C cars and boats that turned out to be absolutely the best out there for a price point. That Arrow boat is still running, on 6s now. And right now as I type this, I have a Duet S2 on back order at HZ.
I've been watching these two long enough (years) to know when they truly think well of a product, and, in MY opinion, they are rarely wrong.
If I want to create something I go to Flite test. If I want to buy something, I check here. Their opinions carry weight with me.
That really means the world to us, seriously. Thank you! I always try to make sure we steer people in the right direction as every dollar counts but also just as important, we want to make sure people have the best experience possible!! It can be a frustrating hobby if you see people online having fun and a success but then you buy the thing and your experience is worse than what you witnessed!! I won’t say whose video influenced us to buy a VERY Expensive RC Years ago, but we saved a LOT of money for said RC, trusted who we were watching and had an awful experience with it. Just wanted to make sure that never happened with anyone watching our videos if it could be avoided. Again, thank you and hope you have an awesome weekend! 👍💯🙏😎⚓️

I've owned this plane for years and love it. Good scale flyer so power is adequate. Love it..Did I mention I love it..
I've watched several different mostly rc related channels that don't do no where near as good at making the content enjoyable and also detail all about the RC. You guys do an amazing job with all styles of RC stuff like airplanes, helicopters, trucks, cars, etc. You don't just show a little clip and say buy, you actually tell the good and bad, in my opinion that says a lot. Ya'll got this, keep the amazing content coming.

That was 4-5 feet off the hard deck Ace… if ya’ll are Canadian then 1-2 meters lol much love ❤️ from Oklahoma 🇺🇸 just used your link to buy the displayed 800mm Trojan, an extra prop, and the 6s brushless motor and spinner to be used for my Winter (my first) ARF project with my Hanger 9 Cub 40 80” kit. Going to be using a 100amp Freewing ESC. So excited to Help your Family.
I'm not sure you'll get telemetry using that ESC. It seems like a lot of the more common Spektrum receivers need a Avian ESC or I don't get battery 🪫 voltages.
That hanger 9 is gonna be the bomb man at 80"! Have fun
@@HciContractor I don’t use Spektrum crap, I either use Futaba or RadioMaster with Express LRS, btw I’m not sure where you got telemetry from, but Spektrum trails in last.

I can't believe they are still selling these. Mine is about 15 years old and stilll flies. My version still had the metal wire landing gear. I love the "new" scale gear.

With all due respect and I totally agree flying over people's houses and posting it on TH-cam is not a good look for the hobby and it could be dangerous although in my defense I have permission from all my neighbors and they encourage it as well, they set out on their porches and watch, the kids really love it also, which I think is awesome, when I fly over their houses I try to keep a safe altitude so if something goes wrong I have time to react I mainly try to stay over the little field and I don't fly out of my comfort zone like trying new maneuvers etc.. That said I do not encourage people to go out and fly over people's houses or anything wreckless that would give the hobby a black eye or give yourself a black eye, lol. My advice is to go to your local flying field, if you don't have one within reasonable distance find the biggest field close by and ask for permission, Public property would be best, if you don't see any trespassing signs then you're good, I went on Google maps and found my newest flight field and it's super close to my house, I couldn't believe I hadn't noticed it before, it belongs to a business but I got full permission... They were super cool and even came out and watched for a while...

You guys got me back into flying, and I hadn't flew an airplane since 96' and after seeing you fly those mini war birds it was back on the horse again. If you guys ever come to a Kentucky game let me know because my flying field is Rupp Arenas parking lot!

Had just read that the T28 is the "poor man's P-51" (both made by North American), and here you are with one, and mentioning a P51 as well. I've learned that your enthusiasm and positivity are how you are!
I bought the Eachine mini T-28 after watching the review here (same colour scheme as this one), and my friend liked it so much he got the P-51. They're great little cheap planes.

The 800mm trojan is an excellent plane. Ive been flying it on 3s 1300mah for 2 years. Probably about 100 flights. The reflex make hand launching a breeze. Definitely 2 blade on undercarriage but 3 blade for belly landing. I fly it in pretty high winds too and the stabalizer is great upto about 15mph winds.
I have had this plane for a couple of years. I realy like it. It flys great and is lands very well. It is one of my favorite planes.
Great flite nate. Those little war birds are squirly to fly. You dont need to defend yourself with the negative people. If they dont like it they dont have to watch. Keep up the fun guys.
I like watching your videos because you just show us the good and the bad of every given airplane and Abby does a great job of videoing the flight. Yours are the best RC airplane test videos on TH-cam. I own four planes, all of which you have featured. You gave me the confidence to buy my first plane and learn to fly.

Really like my micro emachine t28...i just started flying it with gyro off using that cheap radio ..of coarse when it gets a bit sketchy i switch gyro back on..i wish this type of plane was available 12 years ago when i first started crashing my planes...😊

Lose the landing gear upgrade the esc change the prop to a 2 blade and use a 3s 1300 makes it a lot better

I used a 800 mah , this plane is really heavy. I went through 7 props before I lost the plane. I have an extra prop if you want it

I used this as a trainer with the reflex. It’s not a beginner plane lol. Anyways, I found the best battery was the spektrum 800 mah 3s with jst. Got like 3 minutes of flight time, but it was super light and maneuverable

It does not have any stabilization or software of any kind like that. Just good old plug and play! 👍💯⚓️
Manufacture's do have the odd kit that fails on a receiver it's macanical part , thay should except this happens,we all have had this at same time,

We’ve messed around with nitro and I love them, but with such limited time to actually fly and film, I need the plane to work as soon as those kids are napping, or whatever. I do however have a very large gas biplane! 👍😎💯⚓️

I checked on that brushless truck and theyre up to $199 with $40 off
For the last two to three years I've tried going into that company and I can never find them even sending them an email they won't even respond back so how is this supposed to be a legitimate website and a company if they won't even respond back I've even tried clicking on your links for the last couple of years and it's taking me to a site that says no longer exists

I built a Flite Test Mini Master version of this that flies on a 3S 850 or even 4S 850. It’s a bit smaller, and has unlimited vertical! Still, a nice RTF bird.

Ok you guys need to chill from what it sounds like he wasn’t a hater. I will admit that it is annoying when you guys are pushing stuff that is so obviously not great and showing people that are new to the hobby that a certain product is good when it’s not. Don’t get me wrong I love budget rc’s that’s not the problem but you guys get the slowest worst rc but then you recommend it because it has lights and you complain that high end rc’s are not good because they don’t have a thousand gimmicky lights for example the arrma that you just reviewed. So instead of getting upset why don’t you take a good look at yourselves and see if what he’s saying holds water
I disagree… I’ve been watching RCSAYLORS for 5+ years & they are just honest about what they feel… there’s no underlying agenda or anything… it’s just honest reviews across the board with whatever they feel! So, I thank God because since I’ve made Him a more prominent part of our lives, they’ve improved in almost every single way and I want to share my gratitude. It’s not to make you feel uncomfortable, or for you to feel like you have to “convert” or anything like that. For me, having Him involved in All aspects of our lives have made me more grateful for everything, but especially the good moments. Personally, a healthy relationship with God (my opinion) just means that you should be kind and love your neighbor. I honestly don’t think that a true Christian has any negative aspect of life if they are living in that lifestyle the best they can. It’s never to judge anyone for their life, but only to strive to be closer to God and Jesus and be kind to our fellow humans and beautiful world. Really, Christianity =Love in its simplest form.
