Honestly, yes women who are teaching their daughters that sleeping around makes them "strong and independent" are witches...How evil do you have to be to set your child up for misery instead of being honest that sex doesn't lead to happiness in relationships.
Chastity should be promoted so much these days. Sex without love is cold, poisonous, cheap and destructive. Celibacy on the other hand can be difficult, extraneous and stressful especially in times of loneliness or temptation. God's grace can make these battles easier though i can testify through prayer, but it is still not easy.
I had the honor of meeting Jason and Crystalina when they spoke here in the Philippines. Our organization worked with him to spread awareness on love and the beauty of chastity during a time of reproductive health changes in this country. He and Crystalina made such an impact on so many others, including myself and my family’s! God bless them and may they have more fruitful encounters with both young and old alike 🙏🏻
I'm in Aus, have only been here 2.5 years and have been pretty shocked at how much occult and new age is around and out in the open. I remember listing to something where it was said that a sign of witchcraft is societal moral decay. Was in ministry for years in South Africa, never saw this kind of thing except for in Durban. I think us Catholics are going to have to start speaking up and doing a lot more praying here, can't afford to be asleep. I feel a revival coming for the church God willing

There is hate and outrage within our own Church, for the leadership of the Church. The devil is actively working to sow discord and division. All you have to do is see how appalled Catholics are about the Holy Father and the Synod. I visited a vespers service there and although I could not speak Bulgarian I could see that it was the same vesper service I had participated in in the U.S. The church has operating continuously since the early 4th century, except for persecution by later Romans, the Muslims and the Communists. So you see you do not have to struggle with figuring everything in Christianity out you can have the intellectual humility to follow the teachings of a church which has been continuous operation since the 1st century AND a church which preserved the understanding of KOINE Greek AND a church which has physically protected the earliest manuscripts of the Bible against destruction by the Muslims and the Communists.
My mother little sister in Tanzania, does alot of demonic practice we call it Voodoo. Before i did not believe in such things. Before i became a Christian. I was visiting her house in the village. Me my mother and another cousin. I sleept at her bed. Middle of the night i saw people was in the room, like shadows. So i taught some other family member came and visit at the night. So i return to sleep because i was already tired. The next morning, i ask my cousin who was same age as me 22. I ask him were are the people who came at night?? He said what people? I was so confused and embarrassed and i was very sure i saw people at night. Then the next night. It happend again, i saw people around my bed who was looking at me. So i knew it was not a dream. I ran and put light on. Then i was sitting up the whole night with light on. The next day i told my mother i never gone sleep one more night there and i told her i leaving that morning too travel to my other uncle. When i came to my uncle he ask why did you leave her house this early?? I told him i could not stay there any longer because i saw shadows in the room and it freak me out. He told me yes i understand everyone of us older know she practice alot of voodoo. Too summon other spirit and entities. Who they say its our ancestors. Where is Christ? We are not the hands and feet of Mary, or Michael, or Christopher, but of Christ. How dare you give credit to anyone but God through Christ and the power of the Spirit?! There is hair-splitting Catholic doctrine, and then there is the *actual* practice of Catholics on the ground. Many traditional prayers to Mary take the form of pleading with her to plead with Jesus on our behalf as if we should be fearful of Him or as if He was deficient of grace or mercy towards us. Mary was favored by God *among* women, but she didn't die on the cross. Does she have more mercy and grace than Christ? Just. Deal. Directly. With. God. Via Jesus! People will say, but he asked nuns etc. to pray, so why not Mary? My answer: he had to use a phone/socials to reach them. He didn't assume they could hear prayers which is an attribute of God. And he didn't suddenly "consecrate" the work to Sr. So-and-so and declare his own work in Christ to be "her plans" which none could therefore stand against. Imagine someone saying of a living sister, "I have consecrated this mission to Susan and no spiritual or temporal powers will stand against her plans!" 🤦♂️ How do people not see the spiritual danger and anti-biblical nature of such things in practice? This is falling into the human tendency of talking about mere human people in ways that we should reserve for God alone, which is what Protestants and many pre-reformation Roman Catholics have been warning of for centuries.

There is no "the occult." The word "occult" is used to refer to a *huge* variety of mystical doctrines and organizations -- some of which are nearly 100% in agreement with Catholic mystics. For example, Helena Blavatsky of the Theosophical Society wrote a *SCATHING criticism* of abortion on the basis of the sanctity of life. (BTW, she considered Eastern Orthodox theology to be slightly superior to Catholic theology.)
To Catholics everyone is evil except them, just to varying degrees. They're monotheists, so they have to condemn everyone else's beliefs and practices. It's a sad fanatical religion really.

There is no "the occult." The word "occult" is used to refer to a *huge* variety of mystical doctrines and organizations -- some of which are nearly 100% in agreement with Catholic mystics. For example, Helena Blavatsky of the Theosophical Society wrote a *SCATHING criticism* of abortion on the basis of the sanctity of life. (BTW, she considered Eastern Orthodox theology to be slightly superior to Catholic theology.)
To Catholics everyone is evil except them, just to varying degrees. They're monotheists, so they have to condemn everyone else's beliefs and practices. It's a sad fanatical religion really.
Just because an occultist comes to the same conlcusion on a moral issue, does not mean that "the occult" doesn't exist.

You've entirely missed my point on TWO counts:
(1) There is, in fact, NO "the occult" because the word "the" implies that there is one consolidated thing to which the word "occult" refers.
And that is simply not the case.
As I said, the word "occult" does not apply to a particular set of doctrine.
Prefacing "occult" with the word "the" is, per se, a category error.
(2) As described above, I did not make my argument on the basis of "a moral issue." I merely included one moral issue as an example.
In addition, I think it's a pretty good example because the basis of it is not just "a moral issue" but is based upon a fundamental similarity, through a basis in Platonic philosophy, between the Catholic and the Theosophical understanding of the Logos of the universe.
