I fondly remember my teenage years where I had the fortune to go with my father and the local hunting club for a day shoot at susegården. I was lucky to have my earliest learnings of clayshooting and gun safety taught by Giles and his amazing instructors, even though I was just a kid, they spoke with great respect and professionalism. And I remember as Giles said the heat in the afternoon when the quarry heated up. Thank you for the amazing video of this beautiful shooting Ground. Brought back many great memories.
Great video as always Johnny! I actually went there by chance a couple of years ago while staying in Halmstad. I met Beatrice and Giles, lovely people! They brought back in me the passion I had for the sport from my childhood memories when I was shooting with my grandpa! Amazing shooting ground, best one I’ve been so far! Cheers^^
Dear Monsieur Johnny Carter, during my stay in Finland from 1999-2002 I wish I had made the research for these ground facilities close to Malmo, I was closer right then than now retired in North Carolina. Thanks Again for sharing all these Moments with us, beautiful indee and as usual great photography by your team. When season is o.k. go for European woodcocks rough shooting in the Alands ilands (used to be a guide with Welsh Springers but can't find him or his company anymore...) and in Sweedish Lapland you Can find the beginning of pointing dogs Upland seasons in September (the foliage may have start and the birds have been festing on berries, their flesh is délicious!) for cappercaillie, ptarmigans, Willow grouse, black grouse, snipes, woodcocks, ducks, geese and you Can fly fish too. Shoot an elle (moose USA !) and you got your scandinavian Mac Nab! As your instructor told you they got all the regular birds and ground (and Big games) of Europe in the South, others Aimpoint on others firearms, rifles, Express or Combinaison guns. Happy Pancakes Hollydays, c'est la Chandeleur we do Crêpes 🥞 ! Happy Mardi Gras coming!
Nooo did i just miss the chance to meet you 🥺. I live in sweden and have been following you here and on instagram for a while now and always wanted to meet you and shoot some clay with you 🥺🥺
Thanks for the video Johnny. I transitioned to the Acro in my service firearm last spring. It's a good piece of kit that is rugged with the biggest adjustment for an older shooter that has used iron sites for a long time is NOT to get sucked into the dot but focus on the target.
I always feel a little guilty watching this on my phone. It doesn't do it justice. If I have the willpower I try to wait to watch until I am home and can throw it on the TV
There is a similar shooting ground in an old granite quarry in Belgium called Castle Chérimont. Also beautifully integrated in the natural surroundings with some very challenging stands. Go check it out!
We went to Sweden a few times and where shocked at the adult magazines next to the kids stuff ,this was over 20 years ago so don't know if things have changed since then so be aware if you travel with children. The teenage kid on the ferry was shaking looking at what he found on the shelf 😜
really cant see the point in complicating shooting with a aimpoint but lovely ground love to shoot steel but why so much more expensive than lead ? same old rip the shooter off attitude
You point a shotgun, you only need your eye looking down the rib. Pretty pointless having any type of aim assist. Good marketing though. This is basically an advertisement for something you don’t need.

Aim points don’t belong on shotguns….they do nothing to assist the shooter there. They are for rifles and pistols.

Probably because they don’t want to dump lead onto their property?

Jonny, you need a real job; or a 67 year old assistant
First :P
