    Lol, I crocheted a pencil case when I was in high school gave it to my grandma and it was that exact colour. I was just scrolling through TH-cam videos and saw your thumbnail. I gave your video a like too. 👍 Great minds think alike. 😌

    Phew......you are the first teacher to tell us to use the length of the zipper to work out the width of the finished bag. Thank you. Now I know where to start (lol)

    hiii sorry to disturb what if i dont use the fabric liner?

    • @AhselAnneCrochet
      @AhselAnneCrochet  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No worries, you don't have to use a liner but just keep in mind small items can poke through and it may be a-little challenging attaching the zipper.

  • @jwatley313
    @jwatley313 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    So nice!! and the yarn is beautiful! How can you put a strap on it for a side bag ..

    • @AhselAnneCrochet
      @AhselAnneCrochet  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ummm. I would probably create a strap and then weave it through the stitches prior to gluing the fabric down. I'm not 100% but I'm sure it would be something that could definitely be done.

    • @AhselAnneCrochet
      @AhselAnneCrochet  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi sorry for the delay. The fabric liner is any type of fabric you like. You can use felt or piece of cotton fabric. Usually sold at wal-mart, joann's fabric, hobby lobby places like. You can even get fabric off Amazon but it can be a-little pricey amzn.to/2V2UGhU

    How do you make it into the pocket shape?

    • @AhselAnneCrochet
      @AhselAnneCrochet  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Im not sure if you figured this out yet, sorry for delay in responding. Just adjust your foundation chain to the size of the pouch you wan to make t and then make sure you have a zipper to match the size.

    How many rows and multiple of ?

    • @AhselAnneCrochet
      @AhselAnneCrochet  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, this pouch is a customize bag so the stitch count may vary based on your needs. I had a 7 1/2 zipper so I made a chain of 28 stitches. The pouch area was created with 18 rows folded in half making a 4 1/2" bag. I hope this helps some. 🙂

    Will the glue remove if we wash this purse

    • @AhselAnneCrochet
      @AhselAnneCrochet  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure, I've never washed it. I imagine it may hold up on a gentle wash cycle but you can sew down the liner too if you think you may want to wash the pouch often. 🙂

    What projects can I crochet with 100% mercerized cotton THREAD??

    • @AhselAnneCrochet
      @AhselAnneCrochet  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Eek.. I don't know really, usually lacy type stuff; Dollies maybe? I just know you have to use a small crochet hook. Sorry, couldn't be of more help.

  • @shel-b9528
    @shel-b9528 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Did you sew the sides of the fabric inside? If it's not sewed I'd think that the things inside would get moved around an possibly get between the crochet part and the inside fabric part, so I was wondering if you also need to sew the sides of the fabric to the crochet part as well.

    • @AhselAnneCrochet
      @AhselAnneCrochet  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's an option, to sew it down. I actually glued the fabric inside to the crochet pouch prior to sewing it together. You could also create the fabric pouch and then insert it inside the crocheted pouch. Thanks the suggestion. 🙂
