Tom's level of self-control is incredible.
Never did I expect such intense drama in the Lego GBC community
Aidan Garvey its a very serious industry.
ThatMCGamer very serious
The engineering behind these contraptions is amazing.
I, for one, am glad that Steve has finally overcome his fear of the camera.
damn I love watching this every year
Finally, we got to see Steve. He hid well during the last years. It seems to be much fun on your events. Probably, you have to throw balls onto each other from time to time in order not to get crazy there over time.
Imo, this is just insane. I don't imagine the time that this guy used on this. Greatful
That's my boy! Great job Elijah :)
+rsturk We enjoyed meeting him!
+rep good parentery
+rep @Beyond the brick
There are some truly incredible mechanisms in use there. I think it'd be far too easy to fall into the trap of just making basic GBC modules that you know will for the most part always be reliable but I have to say I have a lot of respect for the use of such unique ideas.
49:56 Steve tryna put the ball in his shirt 🤣🤣
Well done... Looks great.
Congratulations Tom and Bryan!
7:08 dat module with the Original 1970s giant technic gears
I met Tom earlier this month! I got him a water and helped make sure the version of the Contraption he brought was functioning as it should. It requires a lot of maintenance.
Absolutely Fantastic!!! ❤
I hope the cute kid at the start has something in the gbc sometime in the future
Amazing creation!
8:30 I remember that.
That kid is adorable
Ryan Carrell, I agree!
Which module had zero problems for its entire "life"? With moving parts of course.
Thank you so much
All of the video is amazing
You should have said, "ok college student, time to turn the video off and go to bed." Because that is me right now.... at 3 am.... (at least it's Friday)
This is so cool
really great video
42:17 The death star grew legs
Holy crap another one!!!!
48:35 who are you?
Gopherguts 2 I
9:24 all around me are faces worn out plaaaces
minecraftManyak dude you tried.
What makes the old gears better is the fact that they are straight shank gears
I never thought I'd hear Tom, of all people, say "I probably have ten balls down my shirt now..."
Lol I was in this video multiple times
Very nice record have you plans or instructions for small red modules
This is soooo cooooool!!!!
we were going to go to another Brickworld somewhere far cause we live in illinois, but we forgot. now its in chicago 1 hour away, and the biggest GBC ever, the thing i was most excited for. e.e
7:50 i have some of those from the seventies!
What can you say but... Wow!
What happened to the tan on the kids flipper? The old one that's red and used to have a tan flipper
Mikey Clark ? I don't get it
Pug Dude Studios it was a module that it seems tom has changed
These are really good. Where can i get the modules to purchase?
I'm literally procrastinating starting my engineering assignment as he speaks
I DID MY HOMEWORK ALREADY
that is awesome
Does Tom expect that one module to not be a prototype anymore by 2020? Lol
Epic
Is there any way that I can sign up for making a model, besides one of the Brickworld modules? Do I just show up with my model?
yup!
Yes, you can participate with your own module in any GBC collaborative display (BrickWorld, BrickFair, etc.). You will, however, be required to register as an exhibitor (as opposed to someone who attends public days).
Jekra n
lol Tom was hit in the face by a ball at 44:28.
Joseph Stalin he actually got hit in the hand if you look really closely
No in the chest
Alison
at 34:12 could you make a tutorial on the brickworld workshop section from 2 years ago.
Why is this video so amusing to me?
I couldn't stop laughing every time he said "balls"
yeah... SQUEEZE THE BALLS!!
where are you at when you record all these
Boom Tetris for Jonas!
Oops that announcer gave me a flashback
When you thought the video is going to end and saw its only half way in
10:30 what happened to the audio?
Also 21:11
Also als 44:30
what if you make a gbc that recirculates three times exactly before moving on
title: three times around
44:28 he just got hit by a tiny soccer ball ⚽️ lol
small question what camera are you (BTB) using? i am trying to find a good cam for distance. bty cool gbc
+The Wooden Lego May 2017 We use the Sony FDR-AX33.
thanks.
Tom atkinson how long does it take to build one gbc module
Cool
Wow!!!!!!!!!
Are there sets for this?
COME TO MAINE
Good job letting that kid get it out.
I was there.
Same!
Gopherguts 2 me to it was awsome
Gopherguts 2 same
Gopherguts 2 same two
Dab
Is that power functions wire dual sided
So what you're saying is that I need to build more than 200 modules to win?
where can i find lego motors and gears
make em wait for it...... boom
Amassing
…you mean amazing
It would be neat if there was a ball printer. Where it places balls on a grid, creating ball pixel art, then dumping them all and doing it again.
now i have only 1 question: if someone will go to this building and push it off the table, will that person be punished? and if this happened already, when did it happen? Thx
I heard such a story of a young man kicking over a module (on a lowered table). The builder was much in shock but I think the parent took corrective action after. Should I worry about you?
I think it is fair to say that there would be a great difference between the reaction to a deliberate act and an accidental one. Also, if an adult deliberately damaged it that would be quite different than if a small child did it. The same could be said about anything on display at a LEGO convention, or really at any public exhibition.
Cooooooooool👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😃
how do you have time to make that
16:18 "you need to go back to school"
Where do people get these Weirdly colored gears?
How do you get the gears with random colors?!?
With skill!
If every part of a module breaks and is replaced, is it still the same module.
ship of theseus
indeed
somebody should make a video with every moment he says module, or balls... this video is practically a guy saying module a lot
And I single!! Whoo!!
LOL Steve
48:42 grown up markiplier
Pretty accurate.off by a couple thousand. TOTALLY
I was there
Ha lucky for me its summer. No homework!!
What is a brickwork module?
Those modules are created during a workshop at Brickworld Chicago.
notification squad!
Every time I see "Rube Goldberg" I think of the British cartoonist Heath Robinson who Rube Goldberg pinched his ideas from.
Americans have always had a great attachment to IPR, not so much if they were not American.
Needs more basketballs and soccer balls
24:20 u can see a ball get thrown at him

Brick840ish making machine
That might be accurate. It may be off by a couple thousand... 👌

i'm crafty at LEGO myself
