50 isn’t wearing Burberry pants if you look close it’s a rip of the Gucci print but instead replaced the double gs with 50
GKMC is literally the best album cover of all time. It is a polaroid of Kendrick as a kid sitting with his dad. There is a bottle of 40% on the table, and his dad is throwing up a gang sign. This is to show the environment he grew up in in compton. AKA «Maad city» He crosses out the eyes of everyone except himself to show that its the view from an innocent child. AKA «Good kid» therefore «good kid, m.A.A.d city. It fits perfectly with the album which also is one of the greates albums oat. How is this not a perfect cover art?

I think the artist’s reputation really affects the score on these especially in the chat. Good kid getting constant S ratings in the chat and logics getting underrated because it’s logic

I can never tell when they’re being sarcastic or when they’re taking the truth
When they are talking about something I know I realize they are being sarcastic but when they talk about something else, I assume everything is true but than I realize if they are being sarcastic for the stuff I know they are probably being sarcastic for other artists. Also sometimes they are serious so it’s a whole mind game and I love it

I suggested “Testing” and “Good kid, m.A.A.d city” and I am happy, that you included both the deluxe and original version of the Kendrick’s. So I got 2 A’s and a B, which is better then my grades in college.

kind of insane that they put the original good kid maad city cover at a B tho. to me it's so iconic and way better than the deluxe one.
For a suggestion I would say Midnight by Set It Off. It's so aesthetic and captures the feel of the album perfectly. It also references one of the songs, Hourglass, with sand. The hands have 12 fingers, there's a digital 12:00, 'midnight' written in the back to reference the title. I think it's so beautiful and I love the little details.

I think Pixel Bath's cover matches the music pretty well. Jean Dawson has to see the world in a pretty amazingly colorful way to make music that unique and quality. A rainbow visor and that bright colorful palette literally encapsulating his head/mind makes sense to me. (Also do yourself the favor and listen to that album if you haven't)

One of my favorite album covers is Prying Eyes by Tropes. Not only is the album cover great but it really fits the beats of the music and draws attention to the EP itself.

The Braille on the work, although traditionally written by Nachum for his other pieces, is by poet Chloë Mitchell, who has worked with Rihanna as well as Kanye West. It reads: I sometimes fear that I am misunderstood. It is simply because what I want to say, what I need to say, won't be heard.

My favorite album covera will always be Portugal. The Man's covers. Most of their albums have Josh Gorley's art on it (the lead singer) and the flaming car from Woodstock is iconic.

I pretty sure Igor is broken up into two parts falling in love/ learning how to recover. That is why he has the short hair in the cover. Because the wig is the first half. Almost in a book where u read the end of the story on the first page without context.

personally I would like to see you both operate under a slight change in the rules, where an iconic album cover that we all are used to seeing isn't given heavy bias towards S. just rate the album cover like it's the first time you're seeing it and you're judging it solely for the quality of the art. at least that's my opinion, as an art person. love from baltimore
