In Flemings left hand rule we will consider current and magnetic field by our own because we are connecting the apparatus we can keep. So we can consider the charge.
I'll remind you fleming left hand rule is the rule to find the direction of force by the direction of magnetic field and current, so we are using the rule here. Any doubt further reply
