Tried prison escape, but persistency put a stop to that. There was a body in tunnel i couldn´t get past. and i couldn´t turn or drag it. Persistency sounds cool, but Cig have no clue that they opened Pandora's box of game killing.

Star citizen is a buggy, trying experience, but knowing there's souls like you out in the verse makes me yearn for every chance to strap in and prepare for launch after work.
I just love you running into a shady guy in the bowels of the prison complex asking if you want to get out, and that he has a ride. 10/10 emergent gameplay, sad that one didn't work out.
Got to say, player interaction in Star Citizen is where the game truly shines. You can have silly stuff, annoying stuff and absolutely clutch moves like this. Oh and apparently prison breaks ^^

My first time escaping from prison in Star Citizen wasn't very... bright. I escaped, only to realize that I was in a dead wasteland, didn't even know where to go from there. I even looked in most of the small platforms outside the prison, thinking I could hijack something or crack a code - nothing worked. Eventually died from excessive heat while I was running aimlessly in the desert outside. It was a fun experience nonetheless!
There are RSI Ursa rovers you can steal, have to get the code during the escape route. There's also a new mission you can accept if you go deep in the mines that will clear your stat right away if you escape with a special data chip
I have been in prison 4 times, 2 times intentionally, and 2 times by accident. I worked my sentence off 3 times, and escaped 1 time, made it a good distance with 2 players. Then we got picked up by one of their friends. This game is fun as hell when playing with others, but soon they will be implementing a lot of solo type gameplay with new mission system. I am hoping in the future to be playing with friends more than anything, but it is too janky for some of them right now.

When you are overheating and dying you have to remove your helmet when in breathable atmosphere (a ship) to cool down so you don't die. That's why you died on the Aurora!
It took me 2 full days of trial and error... I was determined to do it, only to find out the Ursa aren't there and the Cutlass is also not there most of the time... I died a couple times trying to jump to the chip (bad rng), died to the laser beams, died missing crucial jumps, died outside cause of no ursas and cutlass, and of course crashes and 30k... In the end, I got myself a box mission to use as a marker, dropped it over klescher, then took my C2 with my Ursa and drove the Ursa to Klescher, killed myself, had to get a CS, then surrendered, then did the mission and drove off in my own Ursa back to my C2... Good thing is, if the mission ever gets fixed I'll be able to do it in like 10min (if the chip location rng is favourable).

I haven't had a chance to try this yet. It's extremely rare for me to end up in prison, and the few times I have, my sentence was only minutes. Faster to wait it out. I didn't even know this was an actual mission now, before it was just a thing you could do.
If you legit took 3 (?) attempts to get out, I'm SO impressed. I now manage to have a solid 90% success (to arrive outside with the chip), but the first 10/15 times were ROUGH. Same for my friends. The rovers are currently bugged and spawn under the hangars almost every time, which is really annoying. You're meant to take the rover up to a Cutlass black 4km out, which has the device where you put the datachip (which clears your CS instantly), and then you escape using the same ship. Currently, the best course of action is to have either a friend who can land really close to the prison, or come in with an Ursa rover and wait for you at the big pipe. I gotta say, you got super lucky to find the Cyclone, the guy in the Aurora, and the next guy, and none of them killed you for the mission. Great video anyway!! 👏
9:30 I'd say you probably need to turn down your walk speed. Move slower for normal walking, shift to sprint when needed. Walking at high speed all the time definitely makes things like that more pronounced.

Shot doew by a player there last night safe ejection to the ground dressed only in pilot gear, no armour or weapons while doing an execution mission. Would love to say "killed the target, stripped his weapon, killed the rest of the goons and stole the Cutlass to escape," but died in the hold of the Cutlass from heat and blood loss, got the target though Love your stuff, but how do you get the in game voice?

Then start an actual prison gang that will steal other players mined materials unless they pay up. If it's possible, start smuggling stuff into prison via the escape tunnels. Start a revolution. There are a two ursa for the two coees, but if some players look both before you have to run (And that is really a very extrem diiifculkt thing to survive still I saw a guy getting on foot to the point where the data sjip has to be placed to
You should not run around with objects in your hand all the time, besides the punching position. It can show as a threat to other players, especially anything that looks like a weapon.
Star Citizen has the worst lighting of any game I’ve ever seen. CIG thinks it adds tension. And they’re right! In the form of stress and frustration. I have a pin light that’s brighter than the sun on one tiny battery, and when focused it can start paper on fire. Star Citizen (in 2960 ad) uses a 1978 Ray-0-Vac flashlight with a tinfoil battery bypass to run on one half dead battery. That’s just your ship headlight’s. Your flashlight is just a zippo and a mirror.
If you think about it, hanging out with a crew of soldiers preventing pirates from escaping prison is a brilliant tactic to prevent pking and piracy on your server.
Lots of players call it griefing. As most players doing an escape just want to try it for content. If u really want out of jail, it's probably more efficient to mine ur way out or just log off. Because once u escape u need to go to grim hex buy armor and shit go and hack ur crimesat down which u have to do if ur a criminal generally. The risk and reward is to large. Most of the time players will be camping spk in a corner or camping the exit at a jail place. In the long run it will br fun but right now where you are limited on ur options of jails or hacking ur crimesat down all it takes is one camper. Its like camping the exfil in eft. In the future there wont be exfils essentially so it isnt a ptoblem but right now its a problem. Like at 15:00 he got shot cause a ship was just chillin with ots guns pointed at the only exist
Jumping over to that dead dude and getting the chip is the new mission, ONLY diff, you take the car and you get a marker to a ship with some bad dudes you have to kill and then you have to stick the chip into a satellite and upload. done. no more CS and then take a ship and get away.

I've always stayed away from prison because the existence of that part of the game (just like forced pvp) pisses me off. What happens when you escape tho? GrimHex is the only place you don't have a crime stat right? So to go anywhere else, you'd still need to either do your time or hack down the CS right?
The true power move was getting into the pilot's seat the second before you passed out so they were forced to revive you if they wanted to leave.

Yea it's a known bug. If someone has already taken the Ursa they don't respawn. You got lucky though.
They could add some kind of delivery mission to replenish them
