A good video with all the steps you make to achieve this good result. Very nice the Ambush-camouflage pattern! Have a good weekend, Floki. Greetings, Joachim
Absolutely wonderful camo scheme Floki! Lol, i totally understand you about the dots, our minds are coded to look for or make patterns! Looking forward for the next part! Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend.
@@lpjmodels thank you so much! The circle template method has always been the easiest way of painting roadwheels for me. Thanks for the kind words on the camo, I've practiced a lot to learn the control with my airbrush to do this
I often wonder on some modelers builds on putty welds whether they take them out of scale of the model comes with the weld texture molded in? This is a question not a comment. I saw one modeler simply use a brush to put silver weathered marks on the welds which looked great. Idk.
Lot of times I will just leave the kit welds in place and just add my own to where the kit didn't have them trying to keep them consistent with the kit welds. Of course if I absolutely obligate the kit welds while sanding and filling I will add my own
I'm starting to think watching ur vids was a mistake. I now want my Airfix starter kits to end up looking as good as your builds and somehow I don't think that's gonna happen. 😜
Lol thank you! Believe me my first builds where awful, I'm sure yours will look much better than them. Them airfix kits are good starters, just keep practicing and every build will be better than the previous. As for the dots it was just another way to break up the outline of the AFV.
Nice job Floki ! Interesting this brush way to do pattern camouflage . Greetings , Robert .
Thank you so much!

Dude awesome job!! You've got so much patience. Keep it up man, I'm glad the thinning trick helped (:
Thank you! Heck yeah, thinning it down made it so much easier to brush paint, I really appreciate the tip.
@@FlokisModels Of course man, I’m really glad it helped you out (:
long live the circle template !
PS. Camo spraying is gloriously tight !

Also I don't know why they painted this dot cameo effect. I can still see it

Great video. If I may, what tool is that that you used to scrape the round mouldlines? Thanks in advance
Thank you! I got the tool off ebay, it's a Alexen Models parting line scraper. They come in several different styles.
