how did i let this slip? not listened to Eluveitie since Helvetios and Slania and my god they've chilled out haven't they? And this is for the better in this case. fantastic album, best folk ive heard in a long while. massive respect 'Eluvies'
this album was the first thing they put out after most of the band left. clearly alot was written with the original line up in mind. after this its so different
Wrong. It's just in the same spirit as Evocation I, so it's folk oriented. Ategnatos defeneatly kicks ass.
@@xiren8796 its not wrong because its true the band split after origins. Yeah the album was written with original members in mind but after this its not as good by any means. i get it new fans like it but older ones arnt as fanatic and comsume anything "folk" by the pop chorus barrel. Like anyone really cares about one mans band. original fans stopped caring after the split because it was no longer eluveitie. Ill buy the album when they reform.

@@xiren8796 he's right though they did chill out but it ain't for the better. New eluv is just not on the same level as the original band. I don't dislike new members just really think there new songs are sounding more and more like the rest of the nuclear blast records bands. Metal + a theme. Viking metal has more in common with marvel then thor and odin etc. Now we got spooky celt metal to add to it. The early stuff was way more then that
