Really really good.. i'm off to Scotland for 2 weeks in September walking.. so excited and even more so after watching this.. well done the three of you :)
Really special place to me as my dads side of the family are from Arran although most moved back to the mainland now. It's tough finding some Scottish records but got it back to the 1500's now.
The clauchlands path looks nice. Can’t be much fun, lugging that big a backpack. You’d think that someone would be hiring out ponies, just for that task 👍👍👍
Omg I couldn’t even attempt wild swimming with mine .. they just go dead at any temperature less than tropical 🤣 … but I’m very jealous it sounds wonderful
Just watched. Great commentary as usual Kerry. Scenery not bad either! Boulders looked challenging but looks like you had fun. Looking forward to part 2. Tim & Selina
Been a while since i watched any of your clips. Was a good source for ideas when heading North but the weathers been so bad for the past couple of years that i've not even considered. Had planned on jumping on a train with my backpack to head over the Bridges when i get some time of in a few weeks but this ones given me second thoughts. Much closer and uncharted territory.
@@DrunkOnWanderlust yes had a very interesting trip one late September walking a circular from Brodick to Lochranza yh through the mountains with swollen river crossings and bumping into deer in the dark then over Goat fell back to Brodick.
Kerry you've come a long way dealing with the cows 😅 from a flat out refusal to go in the field to walking through without making eye contact, you'll be rodeoing them next. 😅 Great vid as usual. 😊
Done the walk a few years back, great walks and interesting history along the way. However the boulders, my god went on for ever and took hours and hours to complete. Would do it all again tomorrow though. 😉Hope you all enjoyed the experience.
Cracking👍 Love the vids. I have the time, the means and the fitness level(done two marathons in last 12 months) to do this, but I can't be a-sed,what's wrong with me? Any advice? The bird, looks like a Buzzard or a pigeon 😂
@@DrunkOnWanderlust I’m headed there next week for a couple of nights. Camping at Lamlash. But this weekend it’s Glen Nevis which is the site at the bottom of Ben Nevis. Not climbing it though as did it already, just do some hiking up the glen itself. But glad you enjoyed Arran
Went to the campsite at Arran when started hillwalking having decided not to go up goat fell due to fog . Due to camping forbidden signs went to the campsite. Got to the campsite, cold wet and hungry at about 6pm; the woman there was angry due to time i arrived and refused to sell me any food. Due to not bringing enough food was starving. Result was never went back to Arran.
There’s a reason you were the only people on the walk every were is shut most of the path is not passable on the coast and the alternative is road walking 🤣🤣🤣 your better off just getting the bus to the main spots
🤣🤣 ahhh but that was half the fun! Plus I’d take a scrambly adventure on our own over a crowded bus any day … but you are right about things being shut everywhere 🙈 I’d take a hip flask next time if I did it again
Well done you three 👏 been unwell again unfortunately so haven't been on social media much or i could have given you some handy information about the route etc (bit late i know 😅) been going to Arran for over 30 years every month of year until recently, definitely consider going back and going up Glen Rosa onto the saddle then onto goatfell, return to the saddle and go down Glen Sannox 👍 it's a beautiful days walking and imo it highlights exactly why it's known as Scotland in miniature 😉 x
Sorry everyone I was supposed to say we hiked it clockwise not anti clockwise 😂😂🙈 I was tired when I did the voice overs!!
You are forgiven lol.
We did consider doing it anti clockwise so easy to get confused.
Cracking video….. looks like a great time
Priceless video at 30.00 mins in - scary
I don't know how I missed part 1. Steve is an absolute legend. On to part 2.
Really really good.. i'm off to Scotland for 2 weeks in September walking.. so excited and even more so after watching this.. well done the three of you :)
I hope you have a lovely trip x it’s such a beautiful place
Really special place to me as my dads side of the family are from Arran although most moved back to the mainland now. It's tough finding some Scottish records but got it back to the 1500's now.
That’s amazing that you have searched back so far 😁 yes I agree Arran is a special place x
Brilliant to see you back. Ill save this to watch later. I love your upbeat cheerfulness 😊❤
Aww thanks so much 😄 I hope you enjoy it!
Steve is a legend!
He certainly is

The clauchlands path looks nice.
Can’t be much fun, lugging that big a backpack.
You’d think that someone would be hiring out ponies, just for that task 👍👍👍
😁😁😁 after a day or two I get so used to it, it’s not that noticeable anymore x
Where is the dancing? . Excellent video .I really like watching them and really well made
Claire’s bag would have driven me crazy within the first mile, all those other bags hanging off it 😂
That’s what we’re saying 🤣 she looked like a tinker with her wares for sale
Haha. It drives me crazy as well but she is happy with it that way.
Looked like quite an adventure. A bit on the brutal side though 😅
Well done baby very proud of you ❤
Thanks baby x
Brilliant vlog keep the vlogs up 😊😊😊
Thank you 😊 and thanks so much for watching x
Looking forward to watching this , later this evening brilliant
Hope you enjoy☺️
voice for radio mate. .looks good wish i had come now.. good vid
Thanks Daz… yeah it was so fun! But we will have an awesome time in Bulgaria x
Looks like a Buzzard and I have Reynauds too!! It goes a bit crazy wild swimming in the Kilpatrick Hills (just outside Glasgow)
Omg I couldn’t even attempt wild swimming with mine .. they just go dead at any temperature less than tropical 🤣 … but I’m very jealous it sounds wonderful
Happy your channel has more new stuff.😊. Informative and always sunny side up, in the face of adversity 👏😆😁🫡👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you so much 😀 really glad you enjoy the vids x and nice to hear from you again, I hope you’re having a lovely summer so far
fabulous video, I adore Arran and get over once a month x
I hope to make it back one day … it was magical 😃
Good old Steve....Darth Vader😂. Could have been very easy me as well 😆. Looking forward to the next episode. Scotland is my favorite. Cheers, Henk
Thanks Henk, we were all out of breath on that climb though!! 😂🙈
I’ve been told I’m not to breathe when filming in the future. Not sure how that will work out haha
Lovely - great place to go and great company. Claire's widow maker camp contrasted with seasoned camper Steve - who's got the heavy breathing sorted.
😂😂😂 that heavy breathing is hilarious! Omg I know … those falling trees were so dangerous
It got quite windy in the night but no damage done.
Thats a great hike for sure. I love to hike along a beautiful coastline. This video made me whant to come back to scotland. Thanks ❤
It truly is beautiful x thanks so much! X
Just watched. Great commentary as usual Kerry. Scenery not bad either! Boulders looked challenging but looks like you had fun. Looking forward to part 2. Tim & Selina
Thanks guys! Yes it was a lovely trail .. and even the challenge of the boulders kept it interesting 😄
Oh good, I'll watch this later after tea!
Hope you enjoy it 😄🙌

I highly recommend it if you can get some time to go 🤗🤗 I just love it up there x
Beautiful place, never been to any of the Scottish islands, except for Mull, looking forward to part 2, mind the cows x

Hi Kerry, brilliant stuff, looks a lovely trail that one. Some of those Islands are just absolutely beautiful.
They are! 😍 I can’t wait to do some more exploring soon x thanks so much for watching
Fabulous video. I love Arran and have been lucky enough to go several times. I started it anti clockwise and I think you've got the best bits to come.
😍 we loved it too! So many pretty places along the way x I’d love to go again and do the mountains one day

🙌🙌 I am now one with the cows 🐮 some regard me as their leader 🤣

The bird,looks like a Buzzard or a pigeon 😂
🤣 Alan you need some motivation, book your train tickets
the bird was a Tourist Eagle, aka a buzzard
Haha
Thanks for letting me know x
Bird was a Buzzard.
Thanks for letting me know Colin 🤗
Good video. Seen a few on this “trail” that reckon it needs a trades description warning. So many sketchy sections and not for the unprepared.
@@dougbrown9504 🤣🤣 I do think a well placed signpost on certain sections would be handy x
@@DrunkOnWanderlust watching some of your other videos I reckon arran was easy for you. Loving the content. Happy trails
Which Coach was it and how much from Peterborough please?
Arran is my happy place in Scotland 😂
I can see why! Hoping to go back one day x
