I have the same kit. I love it. We need more vintage body kits from Tamiya. The '73 porsche is a beauty. I had trouble with mine not going straight at first. It seemedto not want to re center. I fixed it by removing the plastic servo saver altogether and hooked the horn right to the linkage for zero play. The stock servo saver is very sloppy and will magnify as it goes out to the linkage. I also use about 60% expo on the steering channel for very slight corrections on the straight without flying off in one or the other direction. This made the car amazing and I can run full throttle dead straight all day. The TT02 kits don't get a lot of love from serious racers, but they are excellent to build and fun scale driving kits that will give hours of trouble free fun wherever you take them. Simple, reliable and tough. cheers.
First: thanks for the tip on servo saver, I'm a little fearful on removing it but I think is the right thing, Second: I have 60% expo too....... Third: the chassis is very basic, it works but is an entry level. Fourth: Thanks for watching and all the bests. Ciao, Nanni
Fun and work!! Awesome words to live by! Nanni is #1. I like this car open the front tires and get rid of any movement in the linkages and go again just to see. Thanks
That was a great unexpected bit of fun while looking for more power on the other build. Wonderful to see you having too much fun to stop and adjust the front. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hi Nanni, a super RC car. That wide body is unmistakable Porsche 😊😊. Noticed that it’s still quite sunny in Italy? UK weather is pants! 😂😊😂best wishes to you and the family 😊
Hi John, the video was filmed some weeks ago, now rain and lower temperature... Winter is coming hoping in snow! the body is fantastic the only pity is that the wheels stay a little bit too much into the fenders... Ciao!
I am sure it is a handful to drive now that it is RWD but I am sure it is a lot of fun! I have thought about doing the same to one of mine but I have yet to try it. You did very well keeping it going around the track. Most tracks are at least twice that wide in the lanes so being RWD and on a narrow track you did very well!
@@NANNIRC yes, slowing it down was a good idea. You would have had a really hard time trying to drive it with a fast motor. It would have jut wanted to spin out all the time!
Hey Mr Nanni. Please do me a small favour. Use the entire floor space. Paint it with a gritty grip. Use one length of 4" irrigation to block the 4 concrete Columns as well as the outside of the oval track. This is only for my viewing pleasure and you will be fit as an ox upon completion if not dead
Hi! Don't worry the work is not finished, the track is almost ok (needs minor touches). Out form track I want slippery and pillars will have a neoprene 15 cm high "donut" all around... Ciao!

Hi Addam, also the engine choice has a great part, not always power is the solution... what about smartness. Ciao!!!

Ma sai che hai ragione per la frenata...Anche se io ho pensato al risparmio di peso e all'accelerazione (meno masse da muovere). Grazie e ciao!
Try some toe out. it works on the m04.
right so the car is less nervous.....
