I only started watching this show (English dub) this year. No, not the shitty 4kids dub. The funimation dub. I'm already in an ark on Fishmen island atm, (past episode 550) so there are still a lot of characters from this box opening I do not know yet. But they look awesome. Kinda disappointed my boy Franky didn't appear in this box opening, I love him! SUPERRRR!!!!!

Pretty insane that one piece got a trading card game of this quality! the card art is insane and the feel of the packs and cards is top notch! cant wait to get into this.
Going to be collecting this whole set! One piece is my childhood and for them to bring it to us as a card game is amazing!! The alternate cards are going to be really expensive for a bit.
And it's going to get better, in OP02 they removed the white box in cards that do not have effects and there seems to be less anime screenshots going forward
I've been following One Piece for over 12 years now, which is over half of my life. I can't express how excited I am for this card game. Sadly I haven't been able to get a booster box yet, since they're completely sold out in my country, but I can't wait!
One Piece is my favorite anime and manga the amount of times I have laughed, cried, and enjoyed this series has been amazing!!! These cards are amazing too, I just wish my card shop sold the starter decks

I think this is the perfect next step for a Bandai-developing card game. Fantastic source material to pull from, an enormous fan base that'll love to open product, me included. So excited for all the sets to come
Been an off an on Pokémon collector and a Yu-Gi-Oh player for years, bought the odd dragon ball and digimon pack but never really got into them much...but this....I'm all in!! One Piece has been a massive part of my life for about 20 years and the cards are such high quality. Just about to learn to play it now. Great video too, subbed & liked!!!
Bandaid, I mean Bandai definitely knows who their crowd is putting out this type of art on a product, and I think if people who watched one piece seen this they would like the art plus its well made.
Excited to see you doing an opening for this! I been playing Digimon since 2020 and I have a lot of faith that Bandai will do One Piece justice, the cards look amazing and I think it’s definitely going to be a great card game for collectors and players alike.
I'm glad one piece got a card game as it's my favorite anime/manga right now. Not just because it's entertaining but also because of the lore and foreshadowing that's been in the series since the early chapters! And now to be able to collect cards of my favorite characters it's just awesome
one piece is my favorite show and when i found out we where getting a card game i was sold before even reading the rules of it. i think the game will be really popular just on the fact a lot of people know what one piece so it already has the pull to get people to try it and the game runs amazing and is really fun so people who don't know one piece could still play and enjoy.
I absolutely love it, I have been a fan of One Piece for over 15 years, and have watched the show to the point it was currently up to airing 3 times over, first time was when dressrosa arc was last episode, 2nd time was during wano, and the recent episodes i caught up for a 3rd time. Cant wait to open a bunch of these myself and to buy all the sets, been waiting for a quality one piece card game to come out for years, and I feel like they did not disappoint. The cards arts are gorgeous, love the alt arts, and the manga alt arts are absolutely gorgeous and a great collector item for sure. Boxes look sleek as well and I plan to keep some sealed product, if i can keep myself from opening it that is!
Currently working at my LGS and unfortunately we were not selected as a store to get any prerelease product for this game, but I still have high hopes for the game as a whole and hope that our store can get some of this set in at some point!

I love this One Piece card game!! It is so much fun! My wife and students were able to pick it up easily and have been enjoying playing!! Packs are very hard to find right now though. Love the video!

Just started this last week im usually a yugioh player but picked up a few singles from locals shoutout to Picante TCG in Greensboro NC but yea built a red green law luffy deck. Soo much fun. Keep up the great uploads boss man

I wish there was more product to go around. All of my local stores got bought out on the release day. At least it means the locals will be decent. Have to remain optimistic I guess. Glad I preordered stuff to guarantee it. I'll order a case next time though.

I know I'm incredibly late to the party but my friend just introduced me to one piece and I'm currently on episode 3. I'm not a huge gambler so ill probably just buy singles and keep a sealed booster box of all the sets that come out. the box looks really clean for a display piece as well.

I am so happy that they are making One Piece cards! Normally, when something like this happens, it seems like the compony is just trying to make a couple bucks, and I don't know why but this one doesn't seem like that!
Yes but I feel like they haven't pay test a lot of their cards. Where 1 card shapes the meta where you have to spec counters for it.. If you don't know what I'm talking about is the 8 drop kid. Free 3 drop value could even be a blocker so you can protect your Bonnie's for card advantage.
@JD X I wouldn't say there's meta deck. There's some leader abilities better than others. In blue doffey has better value than blue crocodile. And there are staple/meta cards you need to be aware of. For red is the ST-1 SR 5 drop luffy,shanks. For Green OP-1 SR 8 drop kid, yamoto. For blue it's 4 drop boa and 9 drop mihawk. For purple is the 10-drop kiado, Boro breath.

The One Piece anime is incredible, just like Dragonball Super there is a MASSIVE fanbase. I'm currently collecting the One Piece cards and have about 92% of the cards. Missing a few alt art cards and obviously the Manga Shanks. I've opened 7 boxes so far. I'm hoping the collectability and everything will be on par with the Dragonball Super cards.
I have been super into collecting Pokemon and now that a One Piece card game has come out all my priorities have changed since the nostalgia is just so much greater. Hoping to find some packs at local places soon!

Collectibility is gonna be insane since one piece is one of the hottest anime out and one of the most popular anime ever made!! It definitely plays differently from other card games and I think the more competition the big 3 have the better it is for the TCG community

As a MetaZoo collector these game seems like a great example of how to make pull rates feel consistent and good while still making those "big" hits feel even better

Truly worth the wait. Just amazing game play and card art, with a lot of rare and secret rare of most characters including manga art and parallels for don as well. This TCG is just beginning and its here to stay

If they do not overprint the stuff it is quite collectible imo
