@@AllThingsKiaCO CX-30 has a bit more hp on the turbo version, power trunk, and digital speedo. The SX should keep the same price but add these features as standard and it will blow the Mazda away.

Thanks for the great review. Here in Australia we don’t get the flat bottom steering wheel in the GT line which is the same as the SX in the USA. We have had ours for Three week and love it.
Thank you. That's an unusual difference. It's so weird what the differences are from country to country. They are typically not significant differences but subtle detail changes.

There aren't any Seltos in my entire state right now, but when inventory picks back up, I'm getting the SX.

Did you get it for MSRP? Or how much mark up did you have to pay?
@@the2step I paid 33 thousand for it, so there wasn't any mark up on it. Bought it in July.

I am currently driving an Optima SX Turbo with 245hp. The new K5 only has 180 so I am not planning to trade down. The K5 GT is almost impossible to find on the East Coast so I am considering a Seltos as my next ride.
I picked up the forte GT and it's an amazing little car for the price fully decked out I paid about 23 for it but I'm 6'2 235 and I'm really considering trading up to this!

My dealer had 1 left at msrp no mark ups two tone white roof dark ocean blue body but no sun roof I got the sx awd wish it had a sun roof tho

I’m so excited that I just bought this SX turbo in lunar orange. I hope I get it this coming week. I did a lot of research and this SUV is one of the best for the price and what you get. Its well build. It’s not made in Mexico. My VW Jetta was and I’m so disappointed with VW!
Its one of the more valuable rides on the market. They really did jam pack a lot in it for the price.

Love my Kia Seltos SX but Having issues with the navigation device not working properly, once on a route if I want to change my destination. It will reply unable to relocate or something of that nature
I'm pretty sure there is a way to reset your system. I would call your dealership. If that doesn't work let me know, and I'll talk to one of our service people.

The "Shark fin", is the radio antenna. Where I live, in Canada, this vehicle is upwards 37k, loaded up, taxes in. We get hosed regarding vehicle prices.
Im torn between this car or the new 2022 jeep compass. I have a 2018 compass right now and love it.
I highly recommend the Seltos. Hear me out, the compass is a amazing car but if you're looking for better MPG and overall standard the Seltos provides. The MPG for the Seltos is about Up to 29 city / 35 highway meanwhile the compass is 22/31 which is also still decent, but for the price the Seltos in my opinion is better. You also have a more sporty design on the seltos and has gotten better ratings then the 2022 compass. I recommend if you want to see more features, you go to the Kia website and compare it to the Jeep. I wish you the best of luck with whatever you purchase. :)

Thank you. I'll need to double check but I'm pretty sure it's in the LX trim. I personally don't understand why it's not in every trim.
I have s turbo 2021 nad I have Wireless android auto you just need to set up conection app on your main screen

You can use bluetooth audio it just doesn't project the applecar play on the screen.
are you in the USA?
I have the same model in yellow, but my blind spot sound alerts don’t work. I see the light but no sound. Could you make a video showing how yo set everything up on this model? The manual that came with it doesn’t match up with the newest model so not really helpful. Maybe I didn’t set it up exactly right
the sound is only when you have the blinker on indicating that you are going to change lanes. Hope that helps!

Check your settings on the radio. The sound option may be turned off.

It does have auto hold. I don't know why they don't have a trim that has paddle shifters. Beats me.

No pandanoma sunroof, no heated steering, no head up display, is still not fully loaded!

Can you disable the auto start and stop feature? I find this very dangerous lag on other vehicles trying to pull out fast
I believe there is a button you can press to disable but it resets so you have to press it everytime you enter the vehicle to disable.
Yes you can perminitly eliminate it.
I have the SX Seltos for a year and the engine never stops anymore.
Heres the trick.
Take two very small screws you find on eye glasses frames.
Push the start/stop button in and hold it in.
Now screw the small screws at the bottom of button and frame.
Bingo tbe button "Always" stays in and the motor always stays on.
I love it.
I really want to like it, but it does look a bit busy.
Are you saying the exterior looks a bit busy?
@@AllThingsKiaCO Yes, the styling is busy & overdone (IMO), typical of both KIA & Hyundai, unfortunately. Also wish automakers would quit with the fake/exaggerated exhaust outlets, or rear styling that hints at it. Either give us sexy round exhaust tips or simply hide the exhaust system under the rear bumper.
how do you replace or upgrade the headlight bulbs?
Why would you want to upgrade LED headlights when they are already the best headlight technology?

@@katybickel4163 sure thing, I’ve had my USB port replaced 2x and the sensors on my passenger seat replace once. The speedometer is always inaccurate up to 3mph which could result in a ticket

It depends on your country. In Canada it has heated + ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and a heads up display.

@@harshshukla3226 From my understanding it's up to the KIA leads in the country. So for example in the US you can get the two toned paintjob, but in Canada you can't.

I totally agree, but when you look at the competition the Seltos does well. It has a wide price point so you can hop into a baseline model for around 22k. New cars just aren't cheap.
but how many others of similar size, FULLY LOADED with the same features are pushing 35-40k? all of em lol

Yes it is. But you would be very hard pressed to find a vehicle of similar size that is comparably equipped for this kind of value. Hence the reason this is an outstanding value 😉
Yes but really good deal in the space for what you get. If price is an issue go for a lower trim.
