Well it's literally the only VA to actually have Crash have more grunts than "Whoa". Do you really want him to repeat that one line over and over instead of having actual grunts?

Mike Anthony - Well, actually, he had a bunch of voice samples with his pre-Crash Tag Team Racing VAs that weren't just clips of him saying, "Whoa!" He had a few in Crash Bandicoot 1, for example; aside from "Whoa!", he had "Uh-oh" (before falling when breaking out of Dr. Cortex's castle), "Yee-haa!" (defeating a boss) and "Ta-dah!" (collecting a gem). I'm pretty sure that there are a bunch more in Crash Team Racing and Crash Bash combined. Sure, there's more to work with with Crash Tag Team Racing's VA, but come on, man.

Huh, I forgot about those games. Nice catch! But still I think the current VA has a much wider range of voice clips compared to the voices used in the racing games and other spin off titles. I mean the guy that voices Crash now is able to make Crash's grunts feel a lot less limited to spinoffs but more of a actual way of Crash trying to speak instead of being creepily silent like he was in Twinsanity.
