The Village Port Grimaud / the Venice of France
Port Grimaud is a seaside town that forms part of the commune of Grimaud in the Var department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France.
This seaside town was created by architect François Spoerry in the 1960s by modifying the marshes of the river Giscle on the bay of Saint-Tropez. Built with channels in a Venetian manner, but with French "fisherman"-style houses resembling those in Saint-Tropez, Spoerry called his style L'architecture douce.[1]
The town is also known as the "Venice of Provence".
The mostly traffic-free town is popular with boat owners, as most properties include their own berth. The success of the first phase of the development meant that Port Grimaud 2 (extending the town further east) was completed in the 1970s and Port Grimaud 3 in the 1990s

Very nice quiet and peaceful village.
Super mini vacanza di 5 giorni e 1/2 "balades dans les villages de Provence-Côte d'Azur" (Francia)😍😍: partiti mercoledì mattina, con la mia bellissima, super sexy da sballo e dolce metà Alice🌻❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥, l'instancabile pelosetto nonché tibetan lover🤣🤣🤣 Léon🐶❤, e con la super simpaticissima compagnia di Cristina (La Cris) con il marito di Alessandria, Ezio Cavallieri con la moglie di Sestri Levante e Gianfranco (il Gian) con la sua convivente di Genova.
Tempo così così in Provenza (un po' di pioggia ogni tanto e un breve temporale) ma tutto sommato accettabile, telefonini spenti... naturalmente! Vacanzina super rilassante e tonificante sia per il corpo che per la mente.
Abbiamo goduto di belle passeggiate visitando i villaggi Bormes-les-Mimosas / Grimaud / Port Grimaud / Fayence / Gourdons / Saint-Paul-de-Vence / Vence / Èze: meravigliosi paesini tutistici, con tutto il fascino e atmosfera tipicamente provenzale... Woooww... VERAMENTE SUPER!
Assai ben tenuti, questi bellissimi villaggi caratteristici si trovano nell'entroterra della Provenza-Costa Azzurra, tranne Port Grimaud che è situato invece sulla riviera vicino a Saint-Tropez.
Ovunque regna un'atmosfera amichevole, molto simpatica, dolce, a volte anche con un bel tocco d'Arte che rende il tutto ancora più piacevole, interessante, intrigante, istruttivo.
Hotels accoglienti e impeccabili, ristoranti con menù molto vari, cibi appetitosi e genuini, nella piena tradizione della eccellente cucina provenzale.
Riassumendo, una mini vacanza assai goduta... MAGNIFIQUE!😍😍🔝
