It is and has been a WALL of WIND - like STROOOOOONG wind. We filmed the other night, and the windows and house were shaking - hopefully you'll see it soon enough, but it's an "early release" so I can't talk about the plane. It's a red, gray, white colored 80mm jet....that's all I'm gonna say - coming soon! That is, if MOTHER NATURE cooperates!
I’ve got a 40 x 30 laser table, 100watt CO2 laser. I highly recommend paying for light burn. It’s a one time payment and you can use it on two computers. It will make your life so much nicer and easier for running your machine.
Increase the Watt intensity when cutting the parts that are not fully thru the cardboard. Also, just use more glue to fill in the crappy cuts ;-) .... Also, a little 220 grit sandpaper will take the charcoal / burn off the edges of the cardboard. I have not bought a laser engraver/cutter or 3D printer yet as I am waiting for the "definitive buyers guide" for the software. The hardware is cool and relatively easy - the software is what tries my patience ... Love the videos. Glad to see you and your better half working together in these hobbies. She is awesome camera crew filming the flights. I would probably be divorced if I asked my wife of 42 years to attempt to keep up with my goofy antics in the air. I can't even get her to come fly with me anymore :-( ... my bad - of course.
I realized, only AFTER filming, there was a RED line missing and we corrected this ;) Worked GREAT on the second go around!!! P.S. I'm so glad you too have a wonderful supportive wife to enjoy life, including your hobbies, together!
@@BrianPhillipsRC My grandpa had a pair just like them that he wore over his regular glasses to turn them into sunglasses. Big pimpin at the nursing home!
I've yet to fly one of my prints, but it's going to happen. Gluing PLA, lightweight PLA parts together sucks. I'm finally at a point now though that I can print a plane with my Ender V2 and assemble it correctly. 1 word of warning camera crew; It's not going to go as smooth as Brian thinks. Unless there's a mentor that is actually in the room during setup and his first print. Maybe I'm wrong. I spent a lot loess on my printer.
Is the 40 watt laser powerful enough to cut out the annoying, "Hurry up and click the link in this ad before the billion dollar ear wax industry takes this video down!" Ads??? 😊 Can't wait to see the Baby Draco stand 👍

I'm not sure. It didn't even occur to me to think about that question, but I'll have to look into it now.
