Marion, Ohio is named after one our heroes of the American Revolution. Francis Marion ‘the Swamp Fox’. Mel Gibson portrayed him in the movie ‘The Patriot’. Here in the Carolinas, we love him along with the other Greats. Major Battles took place just south of where I live. Thanks for your videos. 👍👍👍
That poor CSX unit is now working the "Rocky Road" probably when it was loading a ballast train and something came out the loading chute a little to soon. It was also interesting to note that on many of those boxcars there was a green sticker which was an indication the car had cleared customs on a trip down Mexico way. Never a dull moment at this location
The Marion and Shirley Buildings look to be the earliest UNISEX named buildings in all of Traindom. How do you always come up with this stuff, Señor Jaws? That's amazing..!!!. More so than even the diamonds. Gracias por tu video. RT sends, Puebla, México...
Geographic direction and railroad direction are not always the same. The old Southern Pacific line from Los Angeles to San Francisco was geographically north but railroad west being a continuation of the line from east of LA.
Enjoyed these trains. Love the buildings you show a long with the trains. Puppy will adjust after learning whose boss. Your fur babies are so heart warming and the birds singing. Thanks for a stunning video. Smile😊
I like the Erie Lackawanna caboose they have over there at Marion, I'm wanting to make a trip over there but I don't know how consistent the traffic is between all of the lines, it's also pretty far from here at Spencerville.
If what you want to see is trains, then you'll get your wish in Marion! There is on average a train coming through town every 20 minutes. Trust me, I live here
I had a black with silver Gibson cap JUST like the one on your head, pretty cool! Don't know who stole mine to this day, but it was not the end of the earth, as we can all see. Thanks for the superb camera work and the Rockin' trains! You do what you do really well, thanks for that! Mr. EDS-1275 saying Peace/Out Oh, your puppy's a FURBALL back then, wow! Out
😊bedankt weer, was een mooie video,Brian.i see Tony tomorow in here new home,5 minutes riding with the scooty. i gonna make some picthures from there.😊greetings to yor familie. greetz:🍐Peer.👍👍👍👍😅
Every time I see one of the smaller Rail Box car I wonder if I once loaded it when I worked at Fisher Price in shipping outside of Buffalo, NY back in the 80's
Nice video of your trip to Marion, Ohio on 17 May 2023, Jaw Tooth! I recall seeing that CSX engine with the rocks on the top of the engine hood. Was this video part of another video that you uploaded sometime in May 2023?
I swear, I love hearing them slam the diamonds. I remember the days when it was all "stick rail" and the trains went "clickety clack". With welded rail, you only get that on diamonds. I think I heard you were a Ham Radio Operator. What is your call sign? I am W5ALX
FYI you mentioned in another video if find old signals still in use I work in Ottawa Ohio Walmart during my travels outside town south side there couple before town one before splits 2 tracks an one on opposite side leading to 1 track that one has dorf light attached with it Also behind that Walmart in town do north there another pair old signals A lot days that track is very active with csx and I&O traffic south bound is to csx yard and at certain spot splits csx line and I&O yard track Also pedigree yard in Lima has old/modern signal they updated it to led that cf&e yard
Thank you very much for making videos of your adroable pets over the years. I love the frieght trains and the railroad diamonds too. But i really like your at home footage of the family pets such as your cat, and 2 other dogs that you film at the end of every railfan video. One day If i get my very own drivers license, Id like to to take a ride around where you film all the trains someday in the near future. Where are you from in Ohio again? Thats my goal someday, oneday to meet your AWESOME AND CUTE pets in person!!!! See you later man
@jawtooth any chance you are going to be filming in Cincinnati August 15 or 16? We’ll be in the area and my son and I would love to stop by and say hi.
I wonder what is inside those black round-train cars. Chemicals or something I suppose but there sure were a lot of them. Enquiring minds want to know. Happy Wednesday everybody.
Hey Jawtooth are you going to be in Marion this weekend for SummerRail? Its all day railroad presentations for 30 bucks at the Palace Theater. Tickets sold at the door. Ill be there maybe ill run into you. Thanks for the video I cant wait to check out Marion myself this weekend.
Love those meets
I can't believe the some of those long trains
New Puppy. He's a cute little dog who arouses the curiosity of his friends! He's like something out of a Walt Disney cartoon!
We need to go back there again before it gets cold! 😊
Definitely!!
Love the sound of a train crossing a diamond.
Good morning JT and Son happy hump day. Keep up the awesome video work
Morning!
Another great day watching your videos

Asian Cuisine was formerly a bar. That's a big step up.
That hole in the door would be the raccoon and possum gateway where I live
Awesome catches and great video
Cool railroad action from Marion, Ohio . Those shots from AC tower are awesome. Ohio has it all. Nice work JT.
That's an amazing location for trains, awesome video.
I liked how at Marion @ 3'30" that RH gate had an auxiliary small gate operating in tandem, love the diamond clickety-clack 💎 thanks J.T ! 😊❤
Tap dancing over the diamonds 💎 😮 awesome sounds 😎 👌

Marion with diamonds great video thanks jaw tooth and Scott 1960 gambit
BTW, your fur babies are adorable!. The new pup is so cute! I just want to cuddle it. ❤
Geographic direction and railroad direction are not always the same. The old Southern Pacific line from Los Angeles to San Francisco was geographically north but railroad west being a continuation of the line from east of LA.
Just a great location. Thanks, Jaw Tooth.
❤ THIS SPOT! Great train action, Salute and hi to 1960 Gambit!
Hey, thanks!😊
Great
🍂🌲🇮🇳🍂🌲
Thanks Taslim😊
Railroad diamonds - yay! Interesting thought - how do they run a tamper over these diamonds - that would be cool to see!
They don't. These diamonds get replaced as one piece once a year or so
@@Dr_Won_Hung_Lo That makes good sense! It is easier to do that rather than try to tamp. It would be cool to see :)
Amazing videos jaw tooth keep up the good work
Another awesome video JT! Thanks 👍👍. 😊😊😊
Great place to catch lots of trains. As always a thumbs up.
Many thanks!
Again a awesome video JT and watching enjoying too and enjoy the side show too 👍😃😎♥️

Good place for NS office. Like to see 1 of those gaint trains they put together derail heading at their office.
Good diamond action! Thanks for the video
Enjoyed these trains. Love the buildings you show a long with the trains. Puppy will adjust after learning whose boss. Your fur babies are so heart warming and the birds singing. Thanks for a stunning video. Smile😊

Great video JT. Hope you make it up here to NE Ohio
Great film Brian! I had 4529 1141 on 29G not long ago

Ayo JT im a train fan and csx trains are one of the best trains to see and btw great video
Cool CSX train but rather short for a DPU. However I guess it could have been heavier than it looked. 😊😊😊
Yeah I agree😊

MARION OHIO
Hey JT was there a rail line called the Soo line
As i say this train was doing the yard job it comes back
I had a floppy door for the cat until a possum came in one night and got in the closet
Evidently NS needs power somewhere else to put so much of it on such a short train. Still cool though! 😊😊
@jawtooth any chance you are going to be filming in Cincinnati August 15 or 16? We’ll be in the area and my son and I would love to stop by and say hi.

Hey Jaw Tooth didnt you do a video of a crew change at that station about a year ago ,or am i thinking about someone else doing it
Kids throw the rocks at the exhuast pipe to see if them can get one in.
I love the plate steel on the NS train. I wonder what they make out of something so heavy duty? Does anyone know ? ❤😊😊😊
Is he switching? That would be difficult with so many cars.
Este não é agosto? Será? Kkk
Some of this must be former Erie territory judging by the caboose.
Did you reupload this video I remember seeing this video before
No, I dont think so. I hope its not up twice
Jaw Tooth, how many diamonds are in Marion, Ohio?
Lillie is cool gal.
Those rocks 🪨 on CSX#7253 roof must have been thrown by kids from a bridge ??🤔
