A person had it in muyenga but when it broke down, it's parked rotting away in his compound coz spares have to be imported from USA. Dude now drives a harrier peaceful. Those big American cars are notorious for unreliability
They're notorious for being unreliable in their local market of North America. And even those who own them there use them for heavy duty work, not showing off. But hey, its his money. Their transmissions are weak and considering they aint for the african market, servicing, repairing and spare parts have to be imported.
Yup, you are right. These are meant as heavy duty work trucks in north America yet people here show off in them. And besides, they're notorious for being so unreliable with weak transmissions and unreliable engines. Lastly, they aren't made for the African market.
GMCs are very unreliable vehicles even from the American auto market. Yes, if you like unique vehicles, it's good to go for it, but be prepared to change transmission at around 150k miles
Hakuna kitu unasema wewe!! That is a diesel vehicle ans you can drive that 3500 for over 400,000 miles because that is what it is made and designed to do!!
@4321toka ..I live in america and for 23 years so hakuna kitu unaniambia when it comes to American vehicles and trucks! I actually fix and repair both diesel and petrol engine vehicles and trucks also if you need to know! Acha kuja kuanika upumbavu yako for free kwa mtandao....
@charliejasemeogwel6745 A person who has been in the US for 23 years would know how to use facts. The diesel sold I'm the Kenyan market is of poor quality. Show me a GMC truck with the milage you stated and still running strong. In terms of trucks, it starts with Toyota, Ford, Chevy, GMC, and Ram. Any question, Mr mechanic

GMC is crap. If you want a big American truck with better life expectancy then go for Ford F-series, Chevy then Ram. GMC is in the group's bottom.
