Thank you Jill. This net of posies is just so unbelievably cute and beautiful. A note to those who want to make this ornament cover: 10 grams of superduos will get you a maximum of 14 posies. To get 18 you must buy more than 10 grams of superduos!

I know this is an older video but I have a tip: use painter's tape to tack the strip of posies around a soup can to make sure you get the ends joined without twisting. Painter's tape is made to be easily removed from a surface. Have made two of these so far and each is lovely.

Hi Jill Wow You must a fantastic Christmas tree. I can't wait to see the other designs. I am now making different varieties of your first one and giving them as gifts. There is nothing like a hand made gift to give or receive , it becomes a timeless memory of the maker and to the receiver of that gift. I still have some pieces made by family members who have passed. They are truly memorable to myself and my children. Who knows may be my will also become valued treasures. on another subject... As a beginner I wish I could find silver, gold & bronze SB's, in Duracoat or Permanent Finish - Matte & shiny, I bought my gold and silver 11's from you, but now that I look at my order the gold was rose gold, it looks great, I guess you did not have the regular gold in at the time. Those metallic beads can be hard to find, the bead business must be exploding. Your prices are good and I like the 28 gram tubes :) but I need 15, 8 and 6. I need Miyuki rounds 15 and 11 in dark bronze and Dark Bronze Matte too. Those Vermilion beads you have on your web site are beautiful, and the great selection of beautiful super duo's, thanks.

Love the pattern, have made 4 matching family gift ornaments from it. One note, tho: written pattern says to start with 2 YARDS of Fireline. Video says 2 feet.

Many of the craft stores (Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc) carry them, but I actually get mine at Target. I hope that helps. :)

Can anyone tell me the approximate length of thread to use for beading ornament covers please? I have found only one tutorial that tells me how long to cut the thread.
