- This video provides a quick backstory of the biggest-selling Yes album '90125', but from Trevor Rabin's perspective. It begins with his personal journey from leaving 'Rabbitt' and South Africa to releasing solo albums in the UK. Then, it delves into his involvement with the band 'Asia' and his role as a founding member of 'Cinema', ultimately leading to his involvement with Yes.
I don't own any of the music/pictures that included in this particular video.

Nice facts here but Trevor Rabin’s name is pronounced Ray Bin not Ray ban.
Trevor has stated many times that he had never not thought of including Owner of Lonely Heart. Trevor Horn’ contributions are without question but Trevor Rabin was always going to use the song.
The "only time will tell" track by ASIA has a previous version called "starry eyes" singed by Rabin...recorded on those days seeking the proper.lineup
Ray-bin
thank you
Rabbin's greatest song was "Owner of the lonely heart".
The catalog number continued to change...
As the album was delayed.
90104, 90108....which ended up on a jazz album.
The ABWH album for Arista Records had a catalog number of 90126.
Trevor Who ???
Asia the biggest band on the planet? I liked Asia but Genesis and the Police were bigger. As much as I liked 90125 and Big Generator, it felt less like YES than ABWH did... kind think of them as CinemaYES variant... but Trevor Rabin (Ray-bin) is a talent and the band rocked...
Pretty sure ASIA's debut was the biggest selling album in 1982.
@@SLAYERSWINE1 according to Wiki. and I had a copy of their debut, but one year then spiral. genesis and police were the dominant touring bands, and had longevity.
At.the Time ASIA was the biggest in 1982.. they could not manage to prevail, but they Made a lot of.weeks in the charts with brilliant musicianship and pedigree
but why did they name it 90125?
It is the catalog number of the label company
In addition, the album cover was intentionally kept simple like that, I remember that was an interview with TR mentioning that, it was similar to the design of the Mercedes logo, but with some colors added.
We all love Roger Dean artwork, but I personally think this cover suits the materials well.
@@GrooveyRecordVinyl Thanks. I was curious enough to look it up, just thought it was also an interesting piece of trivia. Peace.
Owner of the lonely heart? 😂😂😂😂
NO.
