    Really interesting about the “last call” - I’ve used it (was taught it) and actually use it to allow the others in the pattern to stop considering me as a factor in their situational awareness… I’ve said it when about 2 miles from the non-towered (yes, prior to changing frequency) so that whoever remains can think to themselves “well ok, that C182 is no longer a factor to consider in the pattern”. Totally agree with you about the continued responsibility to look for traffic…
    Going to have to reconsider this…

    Annnd… I use the teardrop entry a lot - at 500 above traffic pattern and 2 miles by GPS but again.. will be extending to 3 miles… man this is a great video!
