Rudy Tomjanovich was nearly killed on the court when Kermit Washington fractured his face and skull with a hard punch and Rudy lay in a pool of blood on the court. Spinal fluid leaked into his nose and mouth. I think you would have to include that as "dirtiest" in NBA history.
