I traveled part of this when going by bus from St.Moritz to Lugano back in 2005. I remember saying Danke to the bus driver as he loaded my suitcase in Chur, and then I said Grazie to the same guy when he handed it back in Bellinzona where I changed bus. 😁

Nice route. It's always geographically weird. Travelling through the mountains and then suddenly at the Como barrier on the highway the mountains are gone. And it's only 50km of flat till Milan. 👍😎

Yes agree, the A9 after Como is almost a straight line.

Why the speed limit is 100 km/h ? I thought in Switzerland it was 120 km/h on highways... Does this highway got lof speed camera btw?

Hi, the speed limit varies depending on whether it's an urban area, an emergency lane is missing or it's a more curvy section. Tunnels usually also have a lower speed limit. There are some speeding cameras but I didn't notice any in particular on this stretch. In general I would recommend you keep to the speed limit in Switzerland because fines get very expensive.

You don't need identification for entering Italy and vice versa at 16:13? But Switzerland is not part of Schengen Area.

It could be so much better without the incredibly annoying soundtrack. Let us hear the sounds of the car, the road and the surroundings. If we want music we can play our own.

Thanks for the feedback. I alternate between music and no music videos. The last time I polled this on the channel the majority preferred to have music. I personally like no music videos as well because they are easier to edit. However, on most trips I am not alone in the car and I can't always ask for people to be quiet. Thanks for understanding.
