I'm gonna address the elephant in the room, The 2 S5 DDDs can be dropped to 1 S4 on HMC and 1 S1 on RM without raising team speed by much, if not nothing, since I already "over-advanced" the units in this run. About the RNG, you only need Rappa to be hit once on first wave, and get pointed by TV 2 times on wave 2. Those are the only constants, the rest don't have to be 1:1, sometimes you get an extra ult on Pela, saving SP, stuff like that is up to whatever happens in the run. Rainbow sets can be used if you can afford the damage loss, Pela with thief set is the least RNG but I forgot to swap until after the run. You can do Skill + BA to get ult without TV energy on wave 2, instead of 2 skills, leaving 1 extra SP for Ruan Mei to skill in case she didn't get hit on wave 1, if Ruan Mei did get hit but Pela didn't, you can instead skill at the end of wave 1 because you have an extra SP.

yknow its nice that the increase in usability for rappa and boothill increase more than firefly with the 2 new banner units. sunday basically reduces sp issue with the bronya setup and gives boothill more ultimates fugue solves the no imaginary weakness issue with rappa since on double superbreak just mark hmc(highest non rng toughness reduction in the game like 70 with skill while march 7th is 240 with rng tho), and lets boothill always get 2 stacks on the first mob from rm res pen, superbreak and exo toughness and lets him deal toughness dmg without relying on his ult. the exo toughness also significantly increases the break dmg boost from rappa's talent in moc 12 heck fugue literally makes himeko a shit ton more broken in pure fiction since now she can constantly chain fua with double breaks on each enemy, removes the type matching requirement for luka and xueyi, new break march plays. all firefly gets is the break dmg from the exo toughness and defense shred which literally all the other characters get
@@hyper450 idk man i just use firefly sustain with boothill, hmc, ruan mei if the boss allows it. as long as firefly tanks the hits u survive and u have a character with universal toughness reduction so u end up breaking boss pretty fast. When aventurine was the boss in moc 12 i used this on second half for a 2 cycle no gambas and 0 cycled with feixiao on the first side

Implant (bh, ff) ≠ extra weakness implant (silver wolf) ≈ actual weakness element type. One is a pseudo (nothing to improve dmg), the other one shreds the elemental type it implants by 20% (+13% if fully debuffed by silver wolf's respective kits). With this, ff's dmg doesn't change for the better. Rappa's 50% break efficiency reduction to non-imaginary type mobs are actually a handicap. Now imagine if rappa just ignores weakness the same as how feixiao ignores them without break efficiency reduction applied :)).
E2 Firefly team forced to use S1 and sustainless to try and zero cycle : sweaty tryhard gamer while the team hangs on a thread of HP 💀💀 meanwhile the most casual E0 Rappa : everyone just vibing to Ninja Music 🪩🎶 (there was a dangerous enemy?)

personally im upset that they ruined the theme of SAM by giving the actual unit green wings and a sword. I wanted a punching and kicking mecha with a scary voice but i got a fairy robot instead. that combined with the fact that she is the poster child for content being tailored to character releases (choir being designed around firefly and pushed constantly + apoc shadow being so break reliant) and its fun to hate on the popular thing means alot of people will crap on firefly.
