One thing I've always taken from the interviews that Black Coffee has done is that he does each and every interview as a PERSON, not as the STAR that he is. He inspires me to be a good human being more than the title I carry in my profession. Just be a good-hardworking person, everything else will follow.

There are many great lessons I can comment on in this video but what has blown my mind is how Dj Sbu is so consistent, practical and intentional everyday about shinning light on the next person. That segment with the students is something straight from heaven, the most beautiful thing about it, the students themselves are so talented and enthusiastic, you maybe mistaken that they are veterans at this, I personally love this because it debunks this commonly thrown statement by some (not all) senior people in influential positions in all sectors that oh our young people lack skills, oh they are not motivated, they are not engaged which to me is just a cover up their flaws in not doing the basics of going out to empower young people. They make it the problem of young people, to say they do not reach out and conveniently forget that a young person does not have the confidence sometimes the resources to reach out for help (themselves have been young people at some stage, they know this) and some do but the people in positions of influence are just out of reach, yes young people should reach out but it is the elders who must make deliberate efforts to come pull up the youngsters. It is more easier to come down and pull someone than for them to climb up to reach out. In other cases, for example corporate where there are 'efforts' to upskill the youngsters, looking closely you realise it is nothing but exploitation covered up as upskilling. In my view some of the stipends paid to interns in some big companies just do not make sense, even if the person is still 'learning' (we know they will be drowning and doing all the donkey work) it just does not make sense considering how much the same company will be paying the top executives. Thank you, thank you DJ Sbu.
Now this is one for the books!.. I liked before even watching because Black Coffee always gives substance! This is what must happen all the time, interview unique guests and then you’ll definitely have our attention🖤… Definitely here for the Coffee!☕️
I am just going to say, besides listening to black coffee as a legend of the music industry. I have to give it to Dj Sbu b'coz both him and black coffee collaborating is the most influential thing one can ever do "Dankie san"
The most human, most relatable and most inspiring interview I've watched on this platform. This felt like reading a great autobiography of a man who's still alive to answer any question the reader may still have.
