Spreading anything on loose lettuce leaves already makes this a pain in the ass. Why wouldn't you just use the biggest pieces of the lettuce (that you threw away)?
I approach it like I do with omelets. I for the omelette, but if it fails I settle for the scramble. Aim for the wrap but settle for a turkey club salad.

You CANT wrap that way and NOT eat the paper when you bite! I know because that’s what what I used to do. It’s tricky to wrap, but that’s not the way.
I wondered how he was wrapping it. I think he tucks the paper somehow so it’s not part of the wrap but I didn’t really see the trick.
