Once you have enough quicksilver to buy an item, you can quickly reload your save after making a purchase. No quicksilver used, item still unlocked and available at vendor
@@oldtoby2194 True, but that will not work with consumables, so Void Egg, Fireworks etc will still cost you the quicksilver. And that is more of a Glitch then an option in the game menu.
I like how you consider peoples' situations when presenting your info, mate! Plus, it's very useful, although I go for costs and consequences, personally. My friends with less open schedules like to pop in fly a ship or two and go at times. Letting everyone play the way that suits them/their schedule helps a game stay alive by not taking anyone who might give it a look for granted.

I really feel there is no wrong way to play no man's sky and yes absolutely not everyone has the time to sink in so they may want to use some of these setting to quickly get to exploring or missions without all the grind. @@XxiouGames Anytime! Fair enough to call it either way with anything subjective like that. I could agree if it forced players into unbalanced PvP or something were being altered in the game's code. Pressing "S" to follow the target plane in dogfights instead of learning the entirety of manually flying + the air/space combat could be considered cheating too. You already nailed the main point. Hello Games intentionally made the settings available to everyone. That stands on its own to cover any examples of how it could be viewed two different ways. Any of it could be called "lazy" as well. To me with a vast sandbox type of game that totally flopped at launch, it was a sound business decision to make it as inviting as it could possibly be. I don't run into anyone in my areas of space unless I go into the anomaly, or they join off me. Unless they do away with open settings like that, calling it cheating just sounds dramatic to me. The scale of the game makes it less clear cut to call it lazy as well. No shame getting right to what i want my time to go into, here. Plus, I don't judge. Too "busy" having fun.
