Great W but I would still sit Ceci in the press box for Stetcher, we got dominated anytime he was around the puck and having yet another 9% goal share couldn’t get worse if Stetcher is there.
I 100% agree. Im back to calling him NoNo again.. kulak let a goal in game 1 the dame exqct way ceci did. They didnt continue to press their man pinched on the boards..they let up and allowed thr pass/shot. That alone is a huge deal.

The fans know Nurse and Ceci can be better and get the job done. The fan base is particularly hard on them when they don't. Nurse had a great season before signing that contract. If you want the cup, you have to get rid of Skinner. He doesn't just play badly - he plays ugly. He is not working on his game, he has not improved any component of his game. Mediocre positioning in the goal, open angles for shots all the time. Not even every goalkeeper in junior hockey will miss Zadorov's goal... He fielded the team in 1 game, and in a huge psychological charge to Vancouver, and he almost leaked this game. These problems were still in the regular season, Skinner never played well - the defense played well, the goalkeeper always played lousy. To go with him for a cup is to play roulette. You can't help but see this as a coach. Skinner is a below-average goalkeeper, and he shouldn't have been on this team for a long time. The guys can't play confidently because they know that any throw will negate all their work and all their goals. Skinner is completely to blame for the first defeat, it is unacceptable to put such a goalkeeper on the games.
