      Thank you very much for viewing so many of our cascade videos, Andrea! We hope you saw the latest one that Leanne released earlier this week. If not, you can find it here: th-cam.com/video/h7YUgZF4Ixg/w-d-xo.html You are about the beautiful and timeless styles. As Leanne often says, "What's old is new" so old styles do reappear in new forms. That's one of the things that is wonderful about floral design. We are so glad you could join us and we hope to see you again soon. Wishing you a splendid week and may it be full of flowers too!

    Peonies have a mind of their own. It sounds like you have developed a good system. The key is to bring the peonies in early, watch them closely and control the opening of blossoms with heat / sunlight and refrigeration.

    This pink peony bouquet looks so beautiful. But it seems quite difficult for a beginner in floral arrangement.

    Any bouquet using a foam holder would not be appropriate for use as a "toss bouquet". If you toss it, the flowers will fall out. Generally, a second bouquet is made for the toss. This bouquet is smaller, lighter, hand-tied and without embellishments that could cause injury.

    Hey Leanne! What are some other ideas of greenery to adhere to the handle?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's an excellent question, Gloria! There are some different kinds of foliage that you could use for the bouquet handle. We do suggest that you practice in advance so you are comfortable with the result. Foliage that might work well include galax leaves, ti leaves, and aspidistra leaves. You could try other kinds of leaves like fatsia or salal to see if they work for you as well. Again it is important to experiment in advance so see how they dry and adhere to the bouquet holder. Thank you very much for watching our show today and we hope that you will join us again soon for more wonderful wedding floral design with Leanne. Wishing you a peaceful and lovely weekend and best wishes to you!

    Breathtakingly beautiful; thank you for your wonderful tutorial. Could you do a tutorial making your own wreath base instead of using an oasis base in holder please?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a brilliant idea, Adriana, and we'll add it to our list of ideas for future shows! You may be able to do something with floral netting if you don't like using floral foam. It just depends on how you would anchor things. Thanks again for watching so many of our shows, and we look forward to having you with us again very soon. All the best to you!

    I love watching you work ! I have a question on the peonies,how early do you order them for opening time. I usually do at least 5 days ahead and then place them in the cooler just as they start to fluff up. If you have any secrets you can share would love to hear them!

    How much would you charge for this?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's an excellent question, Mala! It really depends on the cost of your materials and labor, and if it was a custom design for a wedding, it would cost even more because it was created especially for the wedding couple. There are different ways to price a bouquet, but the important thing to remember is that you are selling a service as much as a product. The other thing to keep in mind is that the cost of the flowers will go up or down depending on the demand and the supply. We hope this information helps and thank you very much for watching our show. P.S. We have a few Flower School Lives that cover pricing and you can find them through this playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLJbJF6YZAYyLFYFYDMFU-OYGtk9zleFhb.html Wishing you all the best and please have a lovely week with flowers!
