I was only knew Mihan and 27 87(through NFC) existed (do not know any fragrances, only know the names) , rest all are new and the video lived up to the thumbnail (niche of niche). Liked them all, but my favourite picks are BODHI & UTAH, Amber Balsam and Supernova in that order.

Funny I was mentioning Amber Balsam in that poll! I love that thing. I don't get bothered by the oud myself but yeah, I can see people getting shocked. When you mentioned not getting "in close" I just think back to Amouage's King Blue. Same deal! Amazing sillage but up close it's a shocker for sure. I'll be going to my local store this weekend to get my nose on some Manos Gerakinis fragrances. :)

👏🏾 Thanks for talking about balsams! Many perfume content creators say a perfume is balsamic, but never explain what that means. Would you say that balsam smells different from the wood itself of the same tree? Is it more concentrated?
Great to hear from you Vivian and interesting point about the scent from the tree versus the distilled version....would love to experience this one day💫 One thing that was impressive from the oil is the way that it moved, changed and morphed into a variety of scents (vanilla, cinnamon, honey, waxy...all with a slight sweet note). At first I thought I was imagining this but I tested 2 times prior to filming and same experience both times; with the 3rd time being on camera....it was cool🥰 Awesome to connect as always; hoping you're well👊🏽

Tried his creation Victoria that’s under the Bornikoff “brand’. SOTD is El Secreto de la Alcazaba by Ecuación Natural / Paul Kiler. I seldom talk about what I’m drinking but at the moment I have a cup of espresso that I need to mention. It’s a Liberica varietal of coffee grown in Malaysia that’s roasted in Hong Kong by Urban Coffee roasters. One of the most interesting cups I’ve had for a long time. Something totally different. Wild stuff. Have a great weekend.

Dear Marcelo. Id love to try Maksim perfumes but somehow those who love his father's brand dont view him positively. However, this video as well as another reviewer's has provided great assessments. Would you really say that this amber smells enough especially since its from balsams and not thru an accord as you pointed out?

I love Oud especially Cambodia Oud and buy it from Arabian Oud in London. 3ml of Oud is expensive. blended with Amber is Devine!!!!!! Although I did subscribe I cant make a blue dot appear even though I followed your instructions ha!

Re: ultra niche - I think the question is where do you want it to come from. There are mainstream brands or mainstream adjacent brands that have ultra niche smelling fragrances. First ones that came to mind are Habanos, Enclave, Ceylon, Matsukita, Taklamakan etc. Then I'd say Marc-Antoine Barrois full house smells ultra niche, but it's now a bit too popular. Great place for ultra niche is the "Crop" line from The House of Oud where they release 1 scent every year that is a 1-in-250 to 1-in-500 limited edition. After that, you'd have to explore brands that are not mainstream. Outside of artisanal indie (Ensar, Areej le Dore), you also have brands like Slumberhouse, Francesca Bianchi, Hiram Green etc.

🔵 Bois 1920 which is a brand I wanna try. I live in the bush currently so no access to niche perfume stores. I end up buying a lot of samples just to smell some of these delectable scents

I need to try Mihan; Petrichor Plains is on my wishlist. I ended up addicted to SSaint after samples, so far I have full bottles of Twenty Two (can't get enough of this), Modus Vivendi and Velvet Bloom, as well as their signature set. 😂

Andrea Mack is one of the houses on my list. Brands that seem interesting and artistic rather than mass appealing, panty dropping, freshies. Trying Meo Fusciuni first, though. Sounds like Supernova is on my list.

I seldom talk about what I’m drinking but at the moment I have a cup of espresso that I need to mention. It’s a Liberica varietal of coffee grown in Malaysia that’s roasted in Hong Kong by Urban Coffee roasters. One of the most interesting cups I’ve had for a long time. Something totally different. I love Oud especially Cambodia Oud and buy it from Arabian Oud in London. 3ml of Oud is expensive. blended with Amber is Devine!!!!!! Although I did subscribe I cant make a blue dot appear even though I followed your instructions ha!

Re: ultra niche - I think the question is where do you want it to come from. There are mainstream brands or mainstream adjacent brands that have ultra niche smelling fragrances. First ones that came to mind are Habanos, Enclave, Ceylon, Matsukita, Taklamakan etc. Then I'd say Marc-Antoine Barrois full house smells ultra niche, but it's now a bit too popular. Great place for ultra niche is the "Crop" line from The House of Oud where they release 1 scent every year that is a 1-in-250 to 1-in-500 limited edition. After that, you'd have to explore brands that are not mainstream. Outside of artisanal indie (Ensar, Areej le Dore), you also have brands like Slumberhouse, Francesca Bianchi, Hiram Green etc.

🔵 Bois 1920 which is a brand I wanna try. I live in the bush currently so no access to niche perfume stores. I end up buying a lot of samples just to smell some of these delectable scents

I need to try Mihan; Petrichor Plains is on my wishlist. I ended up addicted to SSaint after samples, so far I have full bottles of Twenty Two (can't get enough of this), Modus Vivendi and Velvet Bloom, as well as their signature set. 😂

Andrea Mack is one of the houses on my list. Brands that seem interesting and artistic rather than mass appealing, panty dropping, freshies. Trying Meo Fusciuni first, though. Sounds like Supernova is on my list.
Supanova is extraordinary! My son tested this out the other day...BOOM BABY!!!😮♥️ I could smell it on him for hours!
